Untitled spoken word poem. Written 08-31-2021 a little over a month after being kicked out/leaving home. It was a... despairing time, then, so naturally my soul fled to the refuge that is poetry.

A poem on addiction and the futile misery that is living.

Every day is harder and more painful than the last. Existence is not a choice, nor death. Suicide is merely rejection and continued life is merely acception.
We don't choose life; and not even suicide is a choice of death, for demise is inevitable. Birth was nonconsensual. Free will is more of a concept than it is a reality.
