"Trondheim, Norway. A soulful place. At least, that‘s on offer when „Spend The Night“ kicks in. A smooth uptempo production energizing itself by soulful and funky chords alike, blessed by the sensuality of Vebjørn Mamen‘s voice. 

Reggie Got Beats has been quite the shoot in Norway‘s flourishing Disco-scene, placing releases on the well-renowned Diskorama Records. 
His single „Just Pretend“ was an ever uplifting dancefloor stomper that gathered some recognition not only in Norway but also internationally. Being a studied musician, Reggie enjoys recording stuff analog as well as digital. His profession as a drummer and DJ helped him in gaining different influences and mixing them into an unique union. That‘s exactly what is happening on „Spend The Night“. 

Vebjørn‘s love story about the one girl that makes him feel complete when she‘s around may sound a bit saddening on paper while the accoustic outlet paints a different picture indeed. The yearning for warmth and intimacy is accompanied by well danceable rhytmns 
and leaves its listeners in a joyful kind of hypnosis. You will quickly realize that you‘re reciting its chorus... „I‘ve got to know, if you got to go, ‘caus everything will be alright, if you spend the night...“

Next to a radio and club version of the original, Rome-based Soul Trap producer BVRGER transforms the uptempo vibe to an even deeper sensuality. Comparions can easily be drawn to the art of Flume and Mura Masa. While the listener is on a musically journey into future, BVRGER makes sure the moment of surprise is consistent and divine. Another masterpiece from the guy who recently came to recognition with his viral hit „The Cool Kids“.

this is first and foremost a *chill* mix that strays from 128bpm house bangers or high-flying future-bass trap-hop. i know it's the summer and you wanna get hype, but you should only indulge if you wanna relax. turn it on at the end of a long and windy day. or to the start of your lazy morning. or during a rainy-yet-optimistic afternoon. you get the idea (do you?). i won't even be mad if you just toss it up as background music; even that would be an honor!
