Tonight on Full Circle we'll be taking an unconventional look at our prison system.
We'll be presenting you with positive aspects and creative solutions that have successfully helped formerly incarcerated men and women in the bay area.   We’ll learn how prisoners are staying “mindful” while behind bars with the Prison Mindfulness Institute.  We’ll explore the possibilities after one’s release with a new mentorship program.  We’ll also find out about a unique project documenting inmates making positive change in their lives called “The Welcome Home Project.”  All that and much more tonight on Full Circle.

Mission of Adopt an Inmate:
To remind the world and those caught in the grip of the justice system that both accused and adjudicated are human.

To provide relief, comfort, and hope, to those facing judgement, and to help those sentenced emerge from prison whole, knowing they are part of a larger family that loves and cares for them.

Ultimately, Adopt an Inmate seeks to change prison itself from an arbitrary system of cruelty and punishment to one which intrinsically recognizes the humanity of its charges and treats them accordingly such that recidivism is a rarity, rather than a feature, of our current system's design.
