In celebration of International Women's Day 2022 all proceeds from this release will go directly to charities working to create safe sleeping spaces for homeless migrants, trans, inter and queer health care and people with disabilities in Berlin as well as various charities in Ukraine.

Monophonik X Riva - Morsing

Abstraxion once again delivers another twist to his exotic musical tale with "Trance Body Music". A four track collection of 90’s-infused club rockets. Hi-NRG sounds that traverse the trance-techno-rave intersection.

Lead single ‘Whole’ is a distorted and relentless number that hammers along with skewed vocal chops and lashings of bounce. ‘Gold’ however, is a more pushy heads-down affair. It's ramped BPM and vocals muster dewy-eyed Bonzai-memories, whilst harnessing the free spirit of the resurging eurodance movement.

Next out of the rave cannon comes ‘Force’, with its fierce tempo, jittering synth stabs and playful melody working together to create a tidy dancefloor moment. The show is brought to a close with the bubbling title track Trance Body Music. A perfect, almost soothing, finale to a wonderfully energetic adventure.

After feeling lost in the rush of the scene, adrift in a whirl of bass and expectations, « Rebounce » stopped me from questioning my art. 

With « Rebounce » I took a step back and tapped into something rue to me now— an authentic, bouncy groove that reflects my journey of self-discovery.
I wanted to capture a queer, sensual energy that’s both reflective and ready to dance, so I hope that you’ll like it as much as I do 💗

Next up on Basement Beats is Binary Ritual from extremely talented London-based DJ & producer Teetee. This track is a peak-time powerhouse, built on thudding drums and a rolling sub that anchors its hypnotic groove channeling the energy of 90s Goa. 

With warped vocal chops and trippy, psy-inspired melodies, Binary Ritual effortlessly blurs the lines between progressive house and psytrance creating an immersive soundscape of tension and release. 

A stand-out moment from this release process was having the track selected to be featured live on BBC Radio London, by resident DJ Jess Iszatt which was another massive milestone for us.
