Hello dear listeners, Your Character presents new premiere


An international collaboration between two producers, which was born despite 9212 km distance between Vilnius and Khabarovsk. 5ZYL is already known through his presence on Jensen Interceptor’s “International Chrome”, debut EP “Smoke These” and fresh “Main Goal” EP on PZ Records. Shit Control (Rodion Kirsanov) is an emerging producer from Khabarovsk city located at Amur river next to the most eastern border of China. Synthesizers lover and co-founder of the local underground music movement Tom Tom was already recognized by label CYBERJIT. The shape of “Krug” EP was started in Shit Control’s studio, topped up by 5ZYL in Vilnius, spiced up with False Persona remix in Bournemouth (UK) and mastered by Assembler Code in Sydney (Australia). Perfect testimony, that music is an international language without physical, cultural and worldview boundaries.

Tresor Records is fortunate enough to be sitting on a catalogue of past releases that no other label in electronic music would turn down.
Three of the finest in this collection were contributed by Surgeon "Basictonalvocabulary", "Balance" and "Force + Form", which all came out between 1997 and 1999.

Surgeon's inimitable combination of Detroit techno and post-industrial sounds emanating from his British homeland found its fullest expression in these masterful trio of releases.

Following the release of Surgeon's first album in 5 years "Crash Recoil" earlier in 2023, Tresor Records have decided that it is high time to give these seminal albums another airing.

Une concoction originale pour des poulpes en délire… Bien plus qu'un simple outil de destruction aqueux : Dix tentacules et une armée de calamars, Sous alliance mécanique, Pour faire vibrer les cœurs, les Gudules et les spirules. Et comme disait la vieille seiche, à qui l'on doit la comptine du mur : “Ouvrez bien les branchies et laissez couler les pieuvres."

Et la fameuse comptine du mur :
“Une Gudule sur un mur,
Qui picole du poulpe dur.
Ventouse-ci, ventouse-là,
Lève la tête et puis s'en va".

An original concoction for delirious octopuses… Much more than just a watery tool of destruction: Ten tentacles and an army of squids, under a mechanical alliance, to vibrate

Hearts, Gudules and Spirules. And as the old cuttlefish, to whom we owe the rhyme on the wall, used to say: “Open the gills wide and let the octopus flow.”

And the famous wall rhyme:
“A Gudule on a wall,
Who drinks hard Octopus.
This sucker, that sucker,
Lifts her head and goes away".
