Aktuell mein Lieblings-Büro-Set... Super homogenes Set ohne langweilig zu werden. Definitv alles richtig gemacht :)

Due to our good friends from Firespace, we had the great opportunity to contribute a little bit of our music to the infamous Fusion Festival - in our opinion, one of the most beautiful festivals in the world regarding electronic music.
Despite we had - like the year before - a little bit of rain during our floor times, it was one of the most intense experiences we made, since our start as a team in 2007.

The journey was opened from 5am to 7am by our most famous member Martin Anacker, who played a really groovy "vinyl only" set connecting the good old times with brand-new vibes. Baba Sikander, the newest member of our little music brotherhood, took the next step in our journey and guided us through mysterious woods. After a rain induced pause, Niemand & Keiner slowed down the pace a lot. Between 110 and 113 BPM their travel from dark to light was devoted to the dancers and chillers, who needed a little bit of rest from the hammering Tanzwüste and the other, harder floors. Accompanied by the beautiful sun, they emptied their treasure box 5 hours in a row (17°° to 22°°). Here are the first two hours of their journey. Their new studio mix was uploaded just a month ago, so have a look at their soundcloud, if you like, what you heard - but careful: It´s faster - 118 BPM and running!

Es ist Sommer. Sonnenschein, gute Laune und die Zeit im freien steht vor der Tür. Da andere weitaus bessere Techhouse und House Mixe aufnehmen können und ich eine große Liebe für Melodien habe stell ich euch hier meine Vorstellung von einem DJ Set mit melodischen Tracks zur Verfügung. Kein Mix der euch im Club begegnen wird sondern einer der euch die Zeit vor und danach verschönern soll. Eine Auswahl von Musik die mir am Herzen liegt und die sonnigen Tage versüßt :-)

Ein großer Dank geht an Liquid Phonk und dass sie mir ihren unveröffentlichten Song "Wood &amp; Bass" zur Verfügung gestellt haben. Eines meiner absoluten Lieblinge dieses Sommers!

Zum dritten Geburtstag von Jeden Tag ein Set gratuliert Dirty Doering mit einem neuen Podcast. Der Berliner der einst Barkeeper in der Bar25 war, dann dort zum Resident wurde, reist inzwischen als DJ rund um die Welt. Zu Beginn der Kater –Ära hatte Dirty Doering die Idee mit Katermukke ein Label rund um den Spreeclub ins Leben zu rufen. Seitdem veröffentlicht er dort Musik, mindestens ebenso bunt und vielfältig wie seine DJ-Sets.

Egal ob deep oder treibend, seltsam verwunschen oder kristallklar – Dirty Doering und Katermukke legen sich eher selten fest. Und wissen dennoch ganz genau wo es hingeht: Immer weiter raus aus dem Alltag. Immer tiefer rein in dieses so wahnsinnig befreiende Gefühl, wenn der Beat alles und der Gedanke an den Morgen danach nichts bedeutet. Lost in music!

In just a few years’ time, Berlin’s Upon You has established itself as a leading figure in European club culture, 
not just as a label for its 35+ well received 12” EPs, but also for its curated nights at world-renowned spots like 
Berghain and Arena Club. With their combined experience of producing, DJing and promoting, company 
founders Marco Resmann, Marcus Meinhardt and Hawks Grunert have formed a powerhouse whose 
momentum shows no signs of slowing down. In spite of (and perhaps because of) its unpigeonholeable stylistic 
approach, Upon You has become a respected source for all DJs and clubbers in search of forward-thinking 
sounds, and now with its first full-length compilation, the label offers a succinct overview for both followers and 
newcomers. 
Upon You Diary No. 1 has been compiled by Marco Resmann (half of Luna City Express) and is split into two 
parts: the first features 13 new, exclusive tracks from the label’s roster including The Cheapers, Re-UP, ONNO 
and Mathias Mesteño. The second part, showcasing Resmann’s dynamic DJ ability, is meticulously stitched 
together using elements of 25 tracks from Upon You’s back catalog, including contributions by Holger Zilske, 
Catz ‘n Dogz, Mathias Kaden, Luna City Express and many other respected names. 
On the surface, the artists on Diary No. 1 clearly follow the tradition of techno and house music, but it’s clear 
that many of them use these forms as merely a starting point for further auditory exploration. From tropical acid 
and tribal grooves to somber dub and hypnotic minimal, it’s clear that Upon You doesn’t hold any purist 
attitudes, and in fact, cross-pollination is encouraged: check Channel X’s be-bop hoedown “Rodeo” and the 
laid-back blue-eyed funk of “Together” by Marek Hemmann. 
Diary serves as both an up-to-date survey of Upon You in 2010 as well as a reflection on its origins, with the 
knowledge that there are many blank pages to be filled out as we push forward into the future of dance music. 
The compilation is available as an elegantly packaged 2xCD set and as a digital download. 
Upon You will support this release with a tour featured by download outlet Whatpeopleplay.

Extraordinary pieces of music have long stood in direct correlation to the physical surroundings that inspire them. When Oliver Koletzki and Niko Schwind packed up their Berlin studios last April to spend a month locked away in a cottage nestled in the stunning nature of Cape Town’s Noordhoek area before heading to AfrikaBurn, little did they know that its long beaches, dramatic mountain views and the heritage of its indigenous people would have such a profound effect on the club-ready sound they had championed with a string of EPs and live-performances since 2015. The result of four weeks of geo-cultural stimuli and creative experimentation culminated in the album Noordhoek, released in May 2018 on Stil vor Talent.
