(EN) Known for their glittering electro-pop productions, Smooth Attack are breaking down genre boundaries with their new EP. Indie rock meets dark ballads, blaring guitar riffs contrast with atmospheric synth pads – and above it all floats the unmistakable voice of Sarignia Bonfà: at times fragile, at others unstoppable.

The songs are crafted in close collaboration: Sarignia Bonfà, Raphael Stricker, and Martin Akeret write together – each contributes their own identity, each helps shape the band’s distinctive sound.

Sarignia’s lead vocals are of the highest calibre – expressive, precise, and controlled down to the finest nuance. Every note lands exactly where it belongs, whether in tender restraint or powerful release. Her voice carries the songs, tells stories, and moves deeply.

Raphael Stricker’s guitar work is both technically refined and emotionally resonant. With a keen sense of dynamics and structure, he weaves shimmering textures, raw riffs, and floating melodies – sometimes at the forefront, sometimes subtly layered, always perfectly placed.

Martin Akeret brings in rich synthesizer textures, deep grooves, and sonic details that give the music its depth and character. His soundscapes are finely balanced between electronic pulse and atmospheric space, rhythm and resonance.

The result: a sonic universe full of emotion, energy, and surprise. This EP moves you, captivates – and stays with you.

(DE) Bekannt für ihre glitzernden Electro-Pop-Produktionen, sprengen Smooth Attack mit ihrer neuen EP die Genregrenzen. Indie-Rock trifft auf düstere Balladen, schmetternde Gitarrenriffs kontrastieren mit sphärischen Synth-Flächen – und darüber schwebt die unverwechselbare Stimme von Sarignia Bonfà: mal verletzlich, mal unaufhaltsam.

Die Songs entstehen in enger Zusammenarbeit: Sarignia Bonfà, Raphael Stricker und Martin Akeret komponieren gemeinsam – jeder bringt seine Handschrift ein, jeder prägt den Sound.

Sarignias Lead-Gesang ist von höchster Qualität: Ausdrucksstark, präzise und kontrolliert bis in die feinsten Nuancen. Jeder Ton sitzt – sei es in zarter Zurückhaltung oder in kraftvoller Entladung. Ihre Stimme trägt die Songs, erzählt Geschichten, berührt tief.

Raphael Strickers Gitarrenspiel ist technisch versiert und gleichzeitig emotional aufgeladen. Mit Gefühl für Dynamik und Struktur verwebt er flirrende Texturen, rohe Riffs und schwebende Melodien – mal im Vordergrund, mal subtil im Hintergrund, immer exakt am richtigen Platz.

Martin Akeret steuert die vielschichtigen Synthesizer-Sounds, Grooves und klanglichen Details bei, die den Arrangements Tiefe und Charakter verleihen. Seine Klanglandschaften sind fein ausbalanciert zwischen Elektronik und Atmosphäre, zwischen Rhythmus und Raum.

Das Ergebnis: ein Soundkosmos voller Emotion, Energie und Überraschung. Diese EP berührt, reißt mit – und bleibt.
