I made this track in 2007, and I just recently made the cover artwork(2013). This track is completely made with Logic Pro 7, Presonus Firebox 400, Keyboard, and other plugins(Spectrasonics Trilogy, EVP88, etc...). The composition is original–conceived and played by me. The mixing and mastering is also my handiwork.

My goal when making this track was simple...change. I had been programming a lot of beat driven music at the time, and I wanted to try to make something that placed more emphasis on chords and percussion. As stated above "I had been making a lot of beat driven music at the time", but I was also listening to a lot of jazz/jazzy-glitch-ambient electronic tracks(e.g. Jan Jelinek, Vangelis, John Klemmer, Pat Metheny...etc). This track was an experiment to see if I could program/compose/play a synthetic jazz track(without sampling), and still maintain the organic sound that is inherent to jazz. 

I'm not sure if the above goals were successfully achieved, but I do think that "Spring Twilight" is a relaxing track and rather sonically pleasing to the ears.

Spring Twilight

I got into Djing around 2001/2002, and then subsequently moved to production/creation of tracks around 2003/2004. I have continued to Dj and make tracks for the last 5 years. My music is hip hop based with elements of jazz, house and electronic elements. Thanks for listening. Peace.
