Sonet a la mort de Nise, 
Francesc Fontanella (1622-1681)

Quan cinyen, caminant, la pedra dura
arcs romputs i cadenes forcejades,
ales desfetes, fletxes desdorades, 
diràs que és de l'Amor la sepultura.

Mes, obscur lo Parnàs, l'esfera obscura,
tristes muses, esteles llastimades,
ab veus mudes, ab ombres desditxades,
que és eclipse, diran, de l'Hermosura.

Nise, lo sol que els astres embellia,
sol que a les muses animà serenes,
deixa sens llum la nit, mos ulls sens dia. 

Ploren los astres, ploren les camenes,
plore l'Amor; puix de l'Amor tenia
los arcs, les fletxes, ales i cadenes.
