Inspired by tunes that have been (and are currently) destroying dancefloors in Miami. Predominately Nu Disco & House that all have strong elements of Soul, Funk or Disco.

Went for a sunset vibe on this one, easy groove with a cheeky bump in the middle.

Sundown In Funtown (MY YAMI FUNK MIX)

Been spinning since 88 and after a 10yr absence I returned a few years back to start mixing again. Before my "retirement", I played at a number of clubs and had residencies at the "infamous" Legends in Old Burlington St and at the Emporium in Soho. Currently mixing for shitz & gigglez, but aim to be playing out again this year.

I like to think, my style of mixing is smooth, I try to take the listener on a rhythmical adventure / journey. I enjoy creating something between the mixes (when possible!) rather than simply going from deck to deck, so if you find yourself; a) loving the tunes, b) having an irresistable urge to dance and c) then realise you haven`t got a clue which tune you`re listening to, then I`m doing my job.

My musical style usually falls into these categories; house, jackin, nu disco, disco house, soulful house but always funky as .......
