DOM - TIME TO SAY GOODBAU - 30-12-23

Born in Oslo, @beth-lydi curiosity has taken her around the entire world, and eventually she ended up in Berlin. Although settled in this busy cultural city, her closeness with nature, the mountains, forest and the ocean is still a corner stone of her existence. 

A key motivation in her life is the discovery of new things, soaking up everything that makes her happy. This is probably a reason why she dives head first and with full force into new experiences, something you can recognize when you see her interacting with music. Music is one of her biggest passions, and this has spread out to every aspect in her life.

Currently she is the co-owner of SNOE, actively engaged in artist management in a well-known agency, music journalist, producing music and touring as a DJ throughout the world. A workaholic with a butterfly image...Fluttering from place to place. „Lydi“ comes form the Norwegian words „lyd i“, and means „sound in“ or „volume within.“ The name reflects her attitude towards the music she plays. Her main concern is not necessarily genre, but rather what it makes her feel, and that feeling she wants to experience together with the people on the dance floor.

Deep and bassy you find her sound somewhere between techno and tech-house. Her style reflects her personality and is always fresh, vivid and happy. Beth’s distinctive sound definitely makes her a „must hear“ in the clubs and festivals around the world. Every show is a new highlight for her, and although she has played prestigious venues and festivals in cities such as Oslo, Berlin,
Amsterdam, Toronto, San Diego, Rio De Janeiro, Copenhagen, Sidney, Melbourne and more, she has never lost the humbleness and thankfulness for getting the opportunity to share her music with the world and to everyone who makes it possible.

My heart overflows with an abundance of affection, reminding us all of the profound truth: God is a DJ and through love, the soul finds solace and restoration. In Techno we find a way to mingle and share our feelings. 

Gratitude extends to the RaveMaker-Crew whose efforts brought forth this remarkable gathering, igniting moments of unity and euphoria.

Seit Anfang 1998 DJ in den Bereichen Techno und Progressive Trance. Der Underground Club Labor in München war der entscheidende Einfluss, wo ich eine unvergessene und wunderbare Zeit erlebt habe. Als ich dort zwischen 2000 und 2005 regelmäßig mein musikalisches Repertoire darbieten durfte, war es dann das Sahnehäubchen oben drauf. Seit 2009 bin ich fester Bestandteil im Hirnschraube DJ-Team in der Kantine Augsburg.

DJ since 1998 with Techno and Progressive Trance. The underground club Labor in Munich was my essential influence, where I had a wonderful and unforgetable time. When I was allowed to perform there regularly between 2000 and 2005 it was the cherry on the cake. Since 2009 I am part of the Hirnschraube DJ-Team at the Kantine in Augsburg.

Aktuell mache ich öfter mit Einzelfall was zusammen, da er über ein breites Musikspektrum verfügt. Er hat bei unserem Dj Contest mitgemacht und hat auch öfter in der Ballonfabrik gespielt. Die Leidenschaft für Vinyl ist ihm geblieben wie mir, auch wenn wir ab und zu andere Sachen ausprobieren. Es macht Spaß, weil wir uns zusammen soundtechnisch gut ergänzen und weil er  das schon immer mit Überzeugung gemacht hat, only Techno (pure Techno).
