This five tracker sees the Italo Moderni founder explore the glittering angles and brooding shadows of his machines. The punishing percussion and beaming laser lights of “Labyrinth Mind” give way to the tumbling drums and racing synthlines of the addictive “Sex Tonight.” The flip opens with the sleazy grandeur of “Beverly Hills”, looming melodies and retro flourishes combine in this operatic ode to the 1980s. We are proud to announce Meccanismo Ritmico, a new multidisciplinary project that will involve artists who can think outside the box, inspired by the energy and spirit of the 1980s DIY subculture. The first volume contains 6 exclusive tracks by Diana Berti aka Violet Poison and Disappearer, 1/2 of Harlem Electronics, two already well-known names in the international electronic scene. The first part is dominated by the romantic and introspective minimal synth wave sounds of Diana Berti contrasted by the dirty and distorted EBM influenced tracks of Disappearer. The compilation is now available only on digital on Bandcamp.

Body Musick is pleased to welcome Disco Morato & Velax on the release number 41 with 4 tracker 'The Product Is You'. The concept in their words: Near future, people used AI to replace real sex and human interaction in the real world (they succeeded). There are simulacra of truth all around, everyone is «happy» to be consumer, consumption of sexual content is at its peak. In moments of «sobriety» people experience incredible emptiness and detachment from the real world, only being connected to the sex network and their toys do they feel happy. All is the product and the product is you.

Whilst the world is on pause, we thought it be a good idea to showcase some works that have been moving us months before the lockdown kicked in. We wanted to share and replicate the same amount of electric vibrational emotions it initially had on us upon first listening to them, so the best way we could describe that feeling was by calling this VA series, Currents I. In this compilation theres some faces you know from the Power Station roster intersected with some soon to be Power Station release inductees, once this mess clears up obviously.

Adrian has been DJing & performing Live sets internationally in the last 5 years, at spots like Panorama Bar Berghain, HÖR radio, Nitsa, Le Sucre, Kapput, Funk, Laut, Soundit, Human-Razz, Ombra Festival, Intergalactic Festival, SAT Montreal. He also makes a live set where he does vocals and plays the Octatrack. The label work in Italo Moderni includes vinyl releases from The Hacker, Legowelt, Djedjotronic, Timothy J. FairPlay, and Krishna Goineau from Liaisons Dangereuses. Marcel Dettmann is one of the next releases for 2024.
