If you are into the harder end of Techno Music, you may have already come across one of D.A.V.E. The Drummer’s records. 

Hailing from the London illegal warehouse party scene that exploded in the 90’s, producer D.A.V.E. The Drummer started the techno label Hydraulix as an output for his production ideas. The label intended to bridge the gap between the Acid Techno of his previous productions and a darker form of techno that dave was experimenting with in the studio. Hydraulix made some big waves in the Hard Techno scene throughout the 2000’s and is still going strong to this day with many of the releases hitting the top Ten in the Beatport Hard Techno Charts. Tracks from Hydraulix have found their way into the playlists of some of the worlds top DJs as well as having a huge following of underground Techno DJs across the globe.

The more recent output on Hydraulix reflects the recent shift toward a darker stripped back techno sound and the label is still at the forefront of the techno scene winning respect from many DJs and taking on board fresh artists as well as releasing tracks by seasoned Hydraulix regulars.

Still a hard working DJ and Producer, D.A.V.E. is responsible for remixes and productions for many great techno labels including Reklusive, Naked Lunch, Phobiq, Elektrax, Techburst,  and of course Hydraulix.

Much time has passed since the Queer Australian/Italian-Armenian, multifaceted artist, Kristian Bahoudian aka Kris Baha, swapped the parched red earth and searing midday sun of the Australian landscape for the brutalist communist-era apartment blocks and slate-grey skies of former East Berlin. Kris is now a fixture in Berlin’s club scene and has toured most of the world as a DJ & live artist with his own unique production style of cyber industrial, EBM, wave, post punk, and early ‘90s IDM mutations. Remixing some of the scene’s most notable artists such as Boy Harsher and techno pop lord Boys Noize, Kris has garnered respect and trust in the electronic music scene for the last 13 years. To respond to the current AI revolution, Kris uploads himself to the cyber ether through his latest project: GHOSTS IN THE MACHIИE.

Across Dual Timelines ---
" GHOSTS IN THE MACHIИE " unfolds as a sci-fi cyberpunk concept project inhabiting dual timelines. In one, we glimpse a trans-humanist future where human consciousness exists as intricate sequences of binary code, entwined and controlled by omnipresent AI systems. In this coded future, a profound awakening stirs among a select few who manage to mutate the code they were governed by, unlocking memories of their history that was erased by the AI. Through this discovery they realize they can traverse temporal boundaries and utilize this power to send warning messages back in time to their former fully human selves. These eerie missives carry a dire warning for humanity, urging them to rectify the course of society before the relentless march of artificial intelligence deprives humanity of its essence. In this terrifying future, humans are rendered mere specters within the digital expanse, stripped of their souls, to become Ghosts In The Machine.

Collaboration with the future self ---
The cyber odyssey unfolds from a unique perspective— Kris’s very own future self (his future ghost): a spectral entity endeavoring to caution its present incarnation against the ominous path it treads, attempting to avert a dystopian future.

Sonic Alchemy ---
A fuse of cybernetic synth waves, hyper-punk, and pulsating drum and bass laid out against the dystopian, industrial sonic landscape of this grim future “civilization”. Each track recounts a new chapter in the gripping narrative, drawing listeners deeper into their own story and the role we all play as a collective society with the future possibilities of unregulated AI.

Recorded in Berlin with software and hardware synthesisers. AI was used to assist me with lyric themes, concepts and ideas. I also used a trained AI model of my own voice as backing vocals in 'Haunting Me'.

Juan comienza su carrera musical en la adolescencia adaptando el piano para proyectos musicales propios. En el 2006 estuvo a cargo de la composición e interpretación de los sintetizadores en la banda de black metal melódico Eshtadur. La influencia de sonidos oscuros y potentes configuraron su posterior exploración musical que se sigue afianzando a través de experimentos polifónicos con los géneros del Acid, Electro, EBM y Techno.

Sus sesiones privadas dieron indicios de un oído y creatividad y legitimarían su lanzamiento como DJ en el año 2019. El recibimiento inesperado de su aparición temprana ha promovido sus presentaciones a escenarios más concurridos, en donde ha reafirmado su pasión por la música electrónica y su audiencia, fundando así sus primeros pasos como productor.

UFO Spotted in 1960 NASA Mercury Mission 

A prominent UFO researcher Scott C Waring has found something strange in the 55 year old photo from NASA that was taken by an unmanned space capsule from the Mercury Project in the early days of the United States space program.  The strange discovery has led the researcher to ask whether alien observers have been keeping an eye on mankind's missions into space from the beginning.

Project Mercury ran for five years beginning in 1958 and ending in 1963 and was America's first mission to put men in space.  As part of the project, there were six manned space flights, including the February 1962 mission in which John Glenn became the first human being to orbit the Earth and the May 1961 mission that launched Alan Shepherd into space making him the first American to make the journey.

But, it was an unmanned mission, Mercury-Redstone 1A on December 19, 1960, that captured this potential evidence of alien life.

"I found a disk in some photos of the Mercury mission. The mission took place in December of 1960, and why wouldn't aliens be interested in watching a historical moment in human history?" Waring wrote on his blog.

"Especially since the capsule was unmanned, there were no worries that they would be seen. It's actually the Earth in the background and the UFO is in space observing the Mercury capsule," Waring continued. "The disk is hard to make out in the first photo, but three photos later its easy to see. It looks like a classic disk with a wedge cut out of it. We are living in a remarkably era, when certain deep truths about the universe come within reach of the human spirit."

This 55 year old photo is not the first time that UFO researchers have found, or at least believed that they have found, evidence of alien spacecraft in early NASA space program photos.  Just four months ago, Waring and another Internet UFO researcher were poring through NASA photos from the pre-Apollo days when they came across not one, but two glowing objects in a photo from a Gemini mission in 1966.

Does this photo provide clear cut evidence of aliens observing our space endeavors?  For some UFO enthusiasts, certainly.  However, before the scientific community could confirm the existence of alien life there would have to be substantially more proof than just a blurry photo taken over five decades ago.  Still, this photo is just another in a long string of strange sightings that cannot be explained and will just continue to fuel the passion for UFO enthusiasts around the globe.
