Maybe it’s just a coincidence or maybe it’s actually a necessity to have your roots in a steel-producing town like Sandviken to acquire a deep enough longing for somewhere else, if you happen to be dreamy, alternative guys who play music. YAST, the lo-fi romantics, are just that.
 
In 2013 they finally released their self titled debut album together with a string of glimmering singles. "Believes", "Strangelife", "Stupid", "I Wanna Be Young” and ”YAST” took them to distant bloggs and caotic venues all around the world. A better international respons on a debut album is hard to find. 

Now 2 years later they are now back with a new single, the first taste of the upcoming second album due for fall.

Boeoes Kaelstigen's melodramatic tracks took the duo to almost a hundred estoteric venues all around the globe. From Tokyo to Paris, Berlin to Helsinki. The actual music industry also gave its approval – songs were praised by Pitchfork. And the debut album got nominated for a Swedish Grammy.

It's time again. One more, one last, time.

Boeoes Kaelstigen is today releasing its last single, a last collaboration, a last remix. Remember (feat. Name the Pet) is a dreamy pop track, as per the usual golden signature recipe. It's a track purposely designed to fit your earphones, on your way somewhere, far away. Where LED-lights glimmer and trains are running on magnetic tracks.

Om man tar en av Sveriges mest respekterade jazzgitarrister, en billboard-låtskrivare, en kaféägande rocksångare och en ska-trummis, får man tydligen, lite otippat, det kanske hårdaste som träffat dina trumhinnor detta år. Låt oss ge er neo-thrash-, punk-, hardcore-, sludge-, speed-bandet Bitch Hawk. En enhet till synes besatt av att förena Beastie Boys sväng med Bathory. 

Dagens rockmusik är unken, ofta självuppblåst, barikad-patetisk och genomsyrad av en macho-jargong lika förlegad som ett tritonus-intervall. Med det sagt, Bitch Hawk spelar rock, de är vita män och de har döpt sitt band till Bitch Hawk. Vad du än känner så kan vi lova att du kommer inte att lämnas oberörd.

Vi släpper nu lös första singeln från ett kommande debutalbum. Singeln ”Winning” är den snällaste låten på plattan. Likväl som med de väna pressbilderna tar vi gemene man och leder hen med ett mjugg-leende rakt ner i fördärvet. 

"The song is based on the downfall of Charlie Sheen", säger bandet. Fan vet vad de menar med det. 

Våga nu inte börja härja om supergrupp, men bakom namnet Bitch Hawk döljer sig inga nykläckta ungtuppar. Basisten Patrik Berger är kanske mest känd för att skriva låtar till Lana Del Rey och Charli XCX. Han skrev även ”I Love It” till Icona Pop och "Dancing on My Own” tillsammans med Robyn. Han har också ett förflutet i kaosrockarna Snuffed by the Yakuza. Andreas Hourdakis är en av Sveriges bästa jazzgitarrister och turnerar Europa runt som medlem i Magnus Öströms band. Han släppte just ett välmottaget soloalbum som Andreas Hourdakis Trio. På sång återfinns Fred Burman, som annars sjunger i Satan Takes A Holiday. Henrik bakom trummorna har harvat i ska-träsket och obskyra rockband tills han nu hittat hem.

The awarded and established exciting Hey Elbow are finally back with new material. After extensive touring in all the world following the release of their debut album, they are ready to release new material and hit the road again. The band will premiere their new tracks on a special curated show at the Iceland Airwaves Festival in November. This is the first single from an upcoming second album. 

Hey Elbow consists of Julia Ringdahl (vocals/guitar), Ellen Petersson (horns/electronics), and Liam Amner (drums). With a background in jazz and an ear for distortion they create eccentric pop music with a big sound. 

Hey Elbow took its name from an aerobics warm-up exercise they were taught while standing in the audience waiting for a show by The Knife. With their foundations in jazz and musical education, combined with an interest in noise, improvisation and freedom, they make oddly haunting pop music with a unique and personal expression.

Need For Speed is a duo from Malmö, Sweden with the roots in RA which released their EP "Then I Woke Up In Paradise" on Progress Productions last year. Once again the release is a co-operation between Progress Productions and our fantastic friends at Adrian Recordings. Need For Speed is currently working on their debutalbum to be released during fall 2018.
