Soooooooo, here it is: my 4h Katerset. What a freaking milestone. At somepoint in the middle of the set I looked around and realised what was really happening around me. People dancing, yelling, hugging each other, kissing - everything to my musicselection and at this crazy location. @kater_blau, the place so many storys are told about. I guess you could've read it of my face, how overwhelmed I was. I just had this biiiiiiig grin on my face looking like a very happy Honigkuchenpferd. 

Again thanks to all the dancers who made this experience so unique. And of course thanks to the booking  and the people working at Kater for making my stay so enojoyable. I still don’t have any words for this incredible energy and vibe at KaterBlau on Monday evening. It felt like the Acid Bogen was on fireee!
Thanks to all the great people who’ve been there and contributed to this very unique moment. Also to all my friends who came to support - I love you big time!

Die bekannte Aussage, sich in der Musik verlieren zu können, trifft bei den beiden Faultieren eigentlich immer voll und ganz zu. Profitieren tuen sie definitiv von ihrem unnachahmlichen Track-picking und den samtig weichen Übergängen, die jedes einzelne Teilchen erst zu einem harmonischen Ganzen verschmelzen lassen. Wie ihr merkt, sind wir große Fans von ihrem Sound. Nicht umsonst fiebern wir jetzt schon einige Monate ihrer Interpretation der Afterhour entgegen, die wir euch heute endlich präsentieren dürfen. Und ja, es erwartet euch Großes… Versprochen.

✔️ Was sind eure musikalischen Einflüsse? 

Wir sind Beide von klein auf musikalisch durch unser Elternhaus geprägt.
Dazu legt éner seit knapp 20 Jahren Vinyl auf und Stelze spielt seit Klein auf Saxofon in verschieden Combos und ist mittlerweile seit 15 Jahren an den Decks.
Wir sind absolute Musik Fanten, etliche Künstler/innen und unterschiedlichste Musikstile prägten uns auf unserer Laufbahn. So viele , dass wir sie hier nicht alle benennen können.

✔️ Was macht eurer Meinung nach her eine gute Afterhour aus?

Freunde, Gemütlichkeit und Sets aus den Faultierdisko bzw Deep&Smooth Podcast Serien :)
….Außerdem, irgendwann ist auch mal Feierabend! Faultiere schlafen gern! :D

✔️ Welche Gedanken mögt ihr uns zu eurem Mix mit auf den Weg geben?

Wir erinnern uns gerne an die schönste Afterhour, die wir gemeinsam erlebt haben. Es war éners Geburtstag und wir spielten das Closing Set im Mensch Meier bei Mytic Creatures.
Eine Wahnsinns Stimmung, Sonnenlicht flutete den Floor, eine magisch Energy! Wir spielten das erste Mal b2b und merkten wie gut wir an den Decks harmonierten.
Auch unser Afterhour Sounds Set wurde von aus abwechselnd erlesenen Lieblings-Tracks b2b im Studio des JAZ e.V. Rostock abgemischt.

It was a Saturday at 4 pm, the sun was shining on the island and people were shining too - happy, no worries in sight, just enjoying life. Some people were even dancing in the water. Friends dancing in the back and up front, while Cookie whipped up some mouthwatering cocktails – it was an all-around beautiful scene, a perfect afternoon.

Bei dieser Spezialausgabe des KataHaifisch Podcasts handelt es sich um ein Live Set von einer "46 Katzen Tanzen Auf‘m Tisch"  🐈‍⬛ aus dem Kater Blau. Schöpfer dieses musikalischen Meisterwerks ist das Künstlerduo thea & schtu. Seit 2020 musizieren und produzieren die beiden gemeinsam Musik unter dem Credo „slow & with love“. It was International Women’s Day and the first night at Sisyphos after a long winter break.
