Also tried out the Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor plugin on the master. I'll have to mess around w it more but the iron output transformer's my favorite so far.

It's basically a tradition at this point to revive the riffs from Basalt with updated production and some new riffs. Unoriginal as it may be, It's a pretty fun exercise for me to gauge where I am with my production chops. It's interesting to see how every entry improves upon the last in some way. If I keep this up this could easily be a 1 riff x years clickbaity video lol.

Guitars were ran through some custom IRs I deconvolved from Match EQs of the intro to Meshuggah's Stengah (a blend of both the OG and Re-release). 

Bass has probably my favorite and most involved tone to date. Did a parallel triple amp thing to start before hitting some EQs, Saturn 2s, and a Soothe 2.

Didn't shy away from sidechain comps and multibands this time after a brief stint attempting DnB.

The Class A version's definitely a lot more punchy and in your face than the regular Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor.

All sounds were synthesized from scratch using Sytrus. No samples were used.

Can't be bothered to finish these or make a second drop. Probably dropping dnb for good too. Maybe at some point I'll get around to finishing it we'll see.

Either way, good sound design and synthesis practice. Synthesizing drums is really fun, especially snares. Aliasing on purpose is also p cool.
