This would go sooooo fkin ham at a festival, insane

The American Deep Space Exploration Team (ADSET) is on another voyage near a far away world, many light years from home. They stumble upon a large rift in space, oozing bright purple light and waves of energy. Curious, excited, and nervous, ADSET inches towards the void, when suddenly, they realize they are being pulled closer, getting sucked in. "Full power to thrusters! Get us out of here!" But it is too late, as they get closer to the entrance of the void, their communications systems begin malfunctioning. Sparse reports from other teams closer to the the entrance come back with screams of terror, as they witness monsters emerging around them, some towering over them like skyscrapers, with winged-tentacles that look like windmills smacking towards them. Will they survive? Will any of the footage make it back to Earth? Or will their screams echo through the void, only to end up in a deafening silence....
