Ayobamidele Aladekomo popularly known as ADUKE is a Nigerian born performing artiste, a singer/songwriter, poet, guitarist, dancer and actress. This talented young girl is set to storm the world, with the primary aim of being a topmost performing artiste, cultural and diplomatic ambassador and an icon of positive influence out of Africa.. She hails from Ekiti state, born to a dentist father and lawyer mother. She is the last of two children, art is life for her and music is the core of her passion. Like she says, her ART is in her heart. Aduke is a socio-political conscious artiste who believes that ART can be used as a tool for social and political reconstruction by using it to appeal to the consciousness of a people.

At a very early age, she had passion for deep philosophical thoughts and words coupled with the love for rhythm; music was not farfetched for her. Her low range voice and style of singing was not encouraged in the religious institution but she set out to be the brand she believed was real and appealing. She debuted her first show in 2010, tagged Aduke and Friends “an evening of poetry and conscious music” featuring poets and other musicians like Kafayat Quadri, Sage Hasson, Veronny Sistasoul, Adewale Oreshade. 

With songs like "Made in Lagos", which was released in 2011 as her first single, a song that addresses rural/urban migration which is a common trend in major cities all over the world, Her second single and video "Hear the voice" a socio-political conscious song that draws inspiration from the living conditions of millions of Nigerians which she says she has a firsthand connection with, the video was released during the nation-wide protest in Nigeria 2012 and was adopted as the song to represent the thoughts of Nigerians, it was also nominated in the ‘best indigenous act’ category of the NEA (Nigeria entertainment awards) 2012 held in New York, "iso kekere" "Nothing to say" to mention, but a few, Aduke has been able to show that her music is created mainly to pass a message. She also has other songs which are not necessarily political in nature as she says LIFE inspires her to write and she writes all about life, from love to culture and tradition, social behavior and interaction, peace etc. 

Aduke strongly believes in shaping young minds, which is why from 2006-2009, she and a few of her friends organized summer music coaching where they tutored in African Music appreciation, vocals, music writing, piano and guitar lessons to young teenagers on holiday and they showcased all they had learnt at a concert at the end of the holidays, all these took place at a Local church in shomolu.
In 2010 she was one of the 10 instructors assigned to selected secondary schools in Lagos in preparation for The Macmillan Literary youth day, where she tutored Queen's college, Yaba and led them to victory at the final competition.
Aduke is also a facilitator for the songs category in the TFL (teenage festival of life) organized by Action health incorporated (AHI) in Lagos state 2014.

Drawing artistic influence and inspiration from artistes like Lauryn Hill, India Arie, Bob Marley, Fela, Adele, Ebenezer Obey and Angelique Kidjo, Aduke sings genres of music like afro neo-soul/afro-jazz, afro-beat and reggae, sometimes importing the use of Yoruba folk songs and experimenting with elements in performance. She is a total theatre practitioner. She heads her 8man band named SSV (Sticks, strings and Voices).
Aduke has performed at several literary and notable events in Nigeria. She has performed on stage with the likes of Fatai Rolling Dollar, Orlando Julius and Ade Bantu at the elder's corner during the 50th anniversary of Goethe institute in Nigeria
She has also shared the stage with the likes of Femi Kuti, Seun Kuti, AdeBantu, Nneka, Siji Awoyinka, Ebo Taylor and Ekow Alabi from Ghana to mention but a few.
