The gravitational slingshot has delivered the manned probe "Ekstendia" to the interstellar electron cloud. The analysis systems are recording a veil of moderate, rhythmic vibrations near the entrance to the Wormhole.

Flowing in a relaxed way between the points of perception and physical states, the auditory flow is built by Nicolas Barnes, Raytek and Schulz Audio. The saturated spectral composition activates the plasticity of dance and neural network effects.

On the fourth disc the a-side is fully covered with the second appearance of Amsterdam producer KAAP. Known for his long live jams on his own imprint Working Titles he does the same right here. 'Phisiks', over 14 minutes long is a warm and dubby melodic builder that perfectly fits in the ÆX catalogue. On the b-side there's Ocke W again with a slamming percussive jam. The EP finishes with Taupe who is following up his track on the third chapter, here again an energetic Detroit-esque techno trip.

Delsin's reissue arm once again looks to the revered back catalogue of Lost Trax for a second 12" that picks out the best of the anonymous collective's work. The EP features five cuts taken from two highly sought after EPs released on Tabernacle Records in 2011 and 2012.

'The Eye' opens things up with punchy drum programming and the sort of sci-fi effects and synths that immediately take you to a future intergalactic world. It's a weighty but emotional opener, while 'Pulp' is more twisted and urgent, with warped synth sounds and busy, bristling drums and perc all building pressure throughout. 'The Forest' resets the mood with mystic synths and mysterious atmospheres that mix ambient beauty with suggestive skeletal beats. 'B01' then canes through the cosmos on a Detroit electro tip with slithers of synth, swollen pads and crisp hits and 'Dominion' rounds things out in hurried fashion. The restless electro drums pound away as prickly snares and cymbals, blurts of machine noise and sweeping pads all wrestle for attention and keep you on your toes. This is high octane electro and techno designed with metallic precision but oozing plenty of human feelings.

Boris Bunnik is no stranger here at Shipwrec, having graced the label with some beautifully deep and textured music under his Conforce, Hexagon and Versalife monikers.  It is to his Versalife guise that the Rotterdam based producer returns, this time for a quartet of works in the shape of Vortices. The cranking clank and grunt of the factory introduces “Amber Molecular Profile”, a piece that combines the warmth of electronica with the chill of electro. The distant tones of “Adept” follow. Carved in the void of space, Bunnik moulds glimmering notes and distant echo into a track that is both absorbing and stark. Acid reverberations and rasping rhythms give rise to sweet and sailing synthlines in the celestial title piece before a cold wind sweeps through in the shapeshifting form of “Chimaera.” A spectrum of musical radiance from a modern day master.

'With bright flashing brilliance, Rudy hit the Proton Music catalogues with "All Things Fade" in March 2019. Now, as we return to the EP, remixes from North and South America continue the picture.

Legendary owner of the Hookah Records imprint, Diego Calderon has been at the forefront of the Mexican underground dance scene with his Hot TuneiK moniker. Responsible for iconic party events that have included the likes of Kastis Torrau and Santiago Garcia, weekly performances in the Hookah lounge have seen Diego reach audiences with his mesmerising DJ sets. Running in tandem, an impressive production career has seen the Hot TuneiK name allied to a host of impressive imprints that include the likes of Balkan Connection, Sound Avenue and Undergroove Music. 

A regular across Proton Music since a debut remixing Andre Sobota in December 2017, the twin-track "Revival" EP in April 2018 stood as a high watermark before the outstanding "Circles of You" saw a polished original combined with remixes from Peter Makto and Gregory S and Sebastian Sellares. Now returning, a Hot TuneiK remix full of maturity creates a crisp new rhythmic shell and smooth rolling bassline to showcase Rudy's sublime melodic lines in "Real You". As the familiar piano refrains ripple across the breakdown, a new arpeggio blends into proceedings to create soaring sonic sonata.

A renowned DJ and producer based in San Francisco, Mark Slee has seen a 15-year long association with dance music flourish with performances in South Africa, Mexico, New York City and Burning Man alongside such icons as Danny Tenaglia, Danny Howells and Lee Burridge. A contemporaneous production career has also seen Slee curate and host the Heron sound and Manjumasi Music shows on Proton Radio. The latter has also found Slee creating a highly successful record label alongside fellow San Franciscan, Atish, also becoming a vehicle for the duo to release their own production material alongside a host of star names. Moreover, Mark Slee's work for the likes of Looq Records, Seven Villas and the Visceral compilation series has seen his stock rise ever skywards.

Working his magic across both Particles and Proton Music, a series of remixes have showcased Slee's remarkable talent and innovative approach to his craft, not least through his interpretations for Kobana, Oliver Lieb and Navar. Now returning, the Mark Slee the remix of "All Things Fade" is a masterful affair that creates a rich, deep house context in which a syncopated rhythm and sumptuous delayed chords provide the perfect framework for Rudy's beautiful piano motifs to sit. Building with ease and subtlety through the glorious breakdown, Slee's incredible attention to detail has hit the mark with rare ingenuity and technique via his aptly titled 'Forever Dub Mix'.

Even though "All Things Fade", remixes from Hot TuneiK and Mark Slee has seen Rudy remain in sharp focus.'

Boliwar Miranda was born in Bombay from a Goan family, hence his name of Portuguese origin.
Despite his Catholic education, he very soon fell in love with Indian classical music and was accepted at the school of an excellent master of “bamboo flute” Hari Prasad Choudury and became his best pupil learning the secrets of that difficult art over a period of several years.
He gradually developed a musical feeling which is closely linked to Indian classical tradition but also reveals authentic originality.
In 1986 he moves to Italy where he is obliged to take a job which is by no means connected to music. It’s in 1993 that he meets two Italian musicians (Maurizio Dami and Ettore Bonafé) and encouraged by them, feels the need again to resume his musical research.
In 1994 he records the CD “Music for Meditation” with Maurizio Dami and Ettore Bonafé distributed by Materiali Sonori. With the above-mentioned musicians he gives several concerts at festivals and cultural events such as Estate Fiesolana - Festival di Pesaro - Estate Veneziana - Museo d’Arte Contemporanea L.Pecci.
In 1996 he records his second CD with Maurizio Dami “A good day” for the Italian label C.P.I - Taccuini.  distributed by Mercury-Polygram; this new work is more Ambient- and New Age-oriented.
He then worked with Maurizio Dami on a project of "Modern Indian Music": their first work ,under the band name "Masala" (DROP 7, released by Materiali Sonori) blends ambient music, modal jazz and liquid grooves with the extremely rich melodic tradition of India. The second one is "Lucid Dreams" (DROP 7.3, released by Materiali Sonori).
Due to Parkinson's disease that sadly hit Boliwar too early in his life, he can't play anymore but remains an artist and a very good painter.
