Acuna - Bass Drop [Premiere]

I crafted a custom drum kit using Logic Pro's Drum Machine Designer and various breaks, including the Amen break. This is my first project using the kit - still a work in progress, but I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Constructive feedback is welcomed.

The Break Escape - Dacs Vip Wip

These 2 Dj’s/producers have been hard at it in the studio. Producing not 1 but 2 EP’s. The first on the ‘Gorilla Warfare’ label and the 2nd on the ‘Jungle Cakes’ label. 

The “Gangsters” EP released on ‘Jungle Cakes’, highlights the multitude of talents that these 2 producers have gained over the years. With ‘T-Phonic’ starting dj’ing at the young age of 15 and drawing his influences from the mid 90’s hardcore & jungle scene and ‘AL Storm’ starting his career in the early rave scene, these 2 have countless hits to their name over the last 25 years.

The first track and EP title “Gangsters” starts gentle with soft strings before the slapped synths kick in, and the track goes wild. Distorted bass and subs hit hard with a heavy attack rate. Futuristic fx’s and a good selection of vocal samples, make this is a great first track on the EP.

“Dirty” is the title of second track and it lives up to its name. Falling subs, bouncing basslines, laser FX’s and MC vocal samples give this one a reel grime feel.

Track 3, titled “MoneyBags” is an all-out onslaught to the ears. The drums, bassline and vocal samples go off on one with crazy synths constant throughout.
Save your energy for this one. You’re going to need it. 

Changing up the tempo and striking hard at the jungle strings, “Original Badboy” is the final track on this EP. Sharp laser subs and tight snares give a whole crisp sound. This is a great cool down skank after the last track. 

This EP is not one to miss.

BOUNTY KILLAZ - TIGER STYLEZ (FREE DOWNLOAD)

Breeze Records officially relaunches late this August with BRE010, a stylish and hard-hitting EP from none other than the talented Yoteii. These bass-heavy tunes prioritise a slightly different style for the young producer, with highlights including The Shadow Monster which flickers and moves utilising warped synths and gurgling basslines. Ratchet Man and No Choice hark back to the older jump-up riddims of Dominator and Ego Trippin whilst staying true to Yoteii’s creative sound design. Finally, Creatures is reminiscent of a Skantia or Simula tune with an unforgiving bass, a snare that's even harder (we don't know how he's done it), and a gnarly half-time second drop.
