"Pollen" will be my next baby to fly the nest on September 24th. Self-recorded, mixed and mastered at home, the track draws influence from 80's new wave, post-punk and disco with lyrics exploring themes of personal identity, sense of belonging and change. The first vocal hook came to me in a dream and I managed to remember it when I woke up. Hit me up if you’d like a download  x

I got a new name, and a character to match

The new single from Catford Gyrations will be released on 28th June 2024, and includes the first brand new material since last year's eponymous debut album.

This 2 track single is available to stream across all major platforms, and can also be downloaded via Bandcamp.

The space age electronic pop of "Land of 1000 presets" draws heavily from charity shop curios of yesteryear. Despite it's apparent analogue facade, it's an ode to how modern technology has provided access a vast library of virtual instruments that would have previously been unaffordable and taken up far too much room in my house. The track doesn't actually contain 1000 presets. It's probably more like a dozen or so, and I may have fiddled with some of the parameters.
