‘House Of Hym’ was self produced in London over the last few months and is beautifully crafted, dark pop that’s both deeply unsettling and truly magical. Available digitally at the usual major outlets, the track is the first indication of what to expect from the forthcoming debut album.

æmma is set to bring her songs to life at a one-off headline show at Bush Hall in Shepherd’s Bush on Hunter’s Moon, 24th October 2018, accompanied on grand piano by a string quartet, a female choir, driving beats and synths.

æmma is the latest project of multi-instrumentalist, composer, and artist Emma Churchley. Born and raised on the remote wilderness of Dartmoor, æmma's music delivers powerful messages that explore darkness and the subconscious,  stories of transformation with a sense of ethereal awe and wonder. Pairing complex haunting melodies, and powerful cerebral lyrics, her music celebrates the female psyche and the ever-changing feminine in all its forms. Her influences include Fiona Apple, PJ Harvey’s ‘White Chalk’ album, early Goldfrapp and Julia Holter.
