In 2020, AEmplify released their first modern day country album, Everyday People. The album featured twelve songs with most of the song lyrics being heavily country based. Everyday People is a three-phase progressive album which starts with the opening songs having high energy, evolving into ballads at the mid-point before ending with songs built around loss.

AEmplify (pronounced Amplify or Emplify) is a multi-genre studio band cofounded by songwriting brothers Alexander Adams and Nicholas Adams.

Alexander, who started playing guitar at the age of 13, and his younger brother, Nicholas, who started on bass at the age of 10, began co-writing, recording, and producing their own studio music in the summer of 2011. Early influences for the songwriting duo started with late 90’s to early 21st century county music, later progressing towards 70’s classic rock until finally reaching their current influence which stems across multiple genres and eras.

Most AEmplify songs are recorded with the combination of two studio techniques: pre-written midi and overdub. The combination of these two recording techniques is what allows AEmplify the ability to create their varied multi-instrument sound. Alex and Nick, togeather, co-produce AEmplify songs and albums, with Nick being the central sound engineer who handles all the mixing, editing, and mastering.

Although neither Alex nor Nick take on a specific instrument role during AEmplify recording sessions, there are obvious differences between their guitar playing styles. Alex is typically known for playing guitar with a simple palm-muted rhythm, while Nick strums the guitar strictly with his fingers never using a guitar pick. Alex and Nick both share the role of lead vocals, however, it is the combination of both voices together that gives AEmplify a unique complimentary harmony and backing vocal sound. Similar sounding voices, sung with slightly different styles.

Through the years, AEmplify has continued to take on the challenge and art of home studio recording and songwriting. AEmplify continues to remain a studio band, rarely playing live for audiences (a task which is also seemingly impossible for the duo considering the instrumental demand and complexity of most AEmplify songs). Today AEmplify has written and recorded nearly 80 songs with 51 currently released to the public across five studio albums (all of which were written, recorded, and produced entirely by Alexander and Nicholas Adams). After completion of their fifth album, Everyday People, AEmplify returned to the studio and is currently working on their sixth studio album.
