What an absolute honor and privilege to have been given the opportunity to finish an amazing song that was started by my late brother Angel Moraes featuring the super talented Tonia Richii on vocals. It was an emotional journey to say the least and I would like to thank Frank Turgeon who collaborated with me on this once in a life time opportunity. Within the last months Maxie König had several releases on for example "Form N Terra" as well as on Robert Babicz' imprint "Babiczstyle". Now finally she returns with this beauty called " Seven Winds" to her mother label "Ohral Recordings". 

Seven Winds is a deep and groovy tune in which some fluffy sounds will catch your attention, put you into these so much loved mood, while the rhythm section will keep your mind moving. 

we are sure: you should love this tune... the interpretation by alex connors & hardy heller move a little bit more forward, so the drumming is a little bit more dance floor orientated, the bassline as well is exchanged and a little bit more demanding but still those both jerks kept all these fine incredients, this well selected sounds of the original, so it seems to be pretty obvious that also their interpretation will catch your attention...

Berlin’s first lady, Anja Schneider, remixes Marbs’ recent hit record, ‘Whitefence’ 

Everyone has their origin story, Anja’s begins with the legendary club, Tresor. After a magical first experience and an epiphany that Techno could be her life’s journey, Anja moved to Berlin and set out to make her dreams come true. Some 30 years later, she has achieved more than she could ever imagine. A DJ throughout the ‘90s, she opened her production portfolio in 2005 with a Sebo K collaboration on her new imprint, Mobilee, a label which would become seminal. After 12 years at the helm, she launched her new venture SoUs and continues to push a warm, richly musical, tech sound. 

For her remix, Anja strips the original back to basics and injects a a ton of funk. Opening with wonky fx and a tough kick, subtle disco bass and vocal ad libs keep it groovy, baby. Riding the automation, the bassline mutates and envigorates to the break where a moment of calm is broken by a dancefloor of happy clubbers dancing their troubles away. A classic sound from the queen of clubland!
