SHELLEY, self-taught DJ from Bielefeld, Germany, has been making a name for herself since 2019 when she decided that the years spent within the club culture could be translated into something fun.
Her cultivating frequencies and understanding are reflected, with a vibe strongly rooted in nature dressed in deep techno. Her sessions blend hypnotic & percussive sounds with dubby & organic atmospheres.
Through this combination, she achieves to impact mind & soul in an unique way, channeling her love for the deeper electronics and turning it into beautiful sonic sceneries.
SHELLEY left her mark on such platforms as Diffuse Reality, Indefinite Pitch, Deepinic, to name a few.

It's our pleasure to feature the amazing Gaia for our fifth episode of the Herbarium mix series. She is a rising artist from Colombia and tells beautiful immersive stories with her DJ sets. 
Gaia chose the Cocoa tree, scientifically called ‚Theobroma cacao‘, as the topic for this lovely journey. The reason for this is that she has a very close connection to this plant since she is part of the farm 'Chocolate Don Gerardo' which harvests it to produce some outstanding chocolate. The mix sounds as exquisite as their natural cacao tastes, so make sure to have a closer listen. ..and maybe a little bite of that chocolate if you pass by Colombia ;)

Inspired by the hypnotic beauty of the underwater depths, his music evokes dark, captivating landscapes where organic sonorities, raw textures and rave-cut rhythms invite us to tip over into a timeless space.
 Like a gradual plunge into the abyss, his productions and sets invite us to let go, to slowly pull away from the surface and sink into a space where silence amplifies sounds, gestures slow down and bodies soften.
The dancefloor then becomes an immersive place of physical experience of sound, where moments of tension and fragility follow one another in the service of emotions conducive to introspection.
It's a vision of Techno that he's been defending for over 10 years through his label's various releases and podcasts, and his appearances and residencies at the Batofar, Social Club, La Machine du Moulin Rouge, DV1, Glazart, HÖR, etc.
