The project was doomed since the beginning, IIRC. Didn't we have to recover all the audio files that were almost wiped at customs? Glad it finally worked out.

Bells of Ticino - Giubiasco

In the early 2000s, boy bands were popular all over the world. Groups like Take That or New Kids on the Block dominated the charts and so there were a lot of other bands from all over the world at the time who wanted to do the same as their great role models. 
In Switzerland, the duo KIWI formed around the two musicians Sam Spörri & Marcel Kistler. Under the direction of Walt Zweifel, a production was created with Kiwi in Toronto, Canada, intended for the Swiss market. 10 tracks were produced and were ready for the final mix and production. Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances, this production had to be postponed and lay in the drawer for many years. 

At the beginning of this year 2024, Sam, one of the heads of Kiwi, decided to bring the production back to life. 
The production was reworked, remixed and remastered and the first track "Deep in my Heart" from the original KIWI production, recorded at Rogue Studios in Toronto, was released under the name "Project SAM".

The eyes close, and the music merges with the sound of the waves, creating a hypnotic and reassuring atmosphere: a warm and enveloping atmosphere, while the sunset paints the sky with golden and pink shades.
I let myself be carried away by the gentle rocking of the sea, immersed in an oasis of peace and serenity. The waves become a natural lullaby"-Lenn.

Grateful Day

I am returning home for Christmas after months of absence for work. The excitement is palpable as I get closer. The anxiety vanishes when I open the door and see familiar and happy faces. The initial tension gives way to love and gratitude. It is a special Christmas, a homecoming that I will keep in my heart as I resume my work far away. But for now I am here, with the people I love most convinced that in the darkest moments of our lives we always find love again..when the lights go down I will be around there!"

When Marco Polo and his father set off on the great voyage to China in 1271, they had a select crew of sailors on board who came from the north of Italy and the region of Venice. One of them was Alessandro Visconti, a young sailor from the mountains of what is now Switzerland, from a village called “Intragna”. The bells of Intragna tell his story of adventures, encounters and the insatiable homesickness for his home in the Swiss mountains. After his return after many years, his family was to become one of the most influential names in Venice. “Intragna (Bells of Ticino)” The bells in our title are the original bells from the church in Intragna and were recorded especially for this title.
