Swedish techno god Adam Beyer rolls in with a gigantic remix for Turbo, the first thing he's done for the Canadian label since his Stockholm Mix Sessions CD back in 2002. The energy swells and builds without ever breaking down completely, the train has left the station and it's not stopping for anyone, ever. Guaranteed massive... the only question is whether your party is big enough to contain this.

Turbo explores the future primitive with NEW JACK TRIBAL. First instalment in this new series comes courtesy of emerging Canadian talent: @Clariannorth, @Hreno, @MikeMind and label A&R @VonParty.

Bridging the gap between the psychedelic world-beat of newly launched sister-label Multi Culti and Turbo’s forward-looking techno and house stylings, these four tracks offer distinct yet consistently straightforward takes on the tribal trance-out. 

Visionquest-native Clarian’s icy-cool ‘Inuit’ kicks things off with a super hypnotic groove… the perfect soundtrack to an acid-ice-fishing trip gone right and an optimal DJ tool for the very early or very late hours. 

Berlin-resident and Canadian ex-pat Hreno (Fur Trade, Autochtone, etc) is next up with ‘Tree Trunks,’ an expertly assembled rhythm track built on top of a bubbling bassline sure to get the party rolling. 

Turbo and Multi Culti A&R Thomas Von Party takes the party from the forest into the jungle with ‘Pygmy Funk,’ an overtly primitive journey built on wood knocks, bird sounds and the deep throb of tom and bongo. 

Finally, the supremely-talented Mike Mind turns in a downtempo bomb that will highlight your cave-party playlist.

A self-proclaimed 303-addict, LA-native @TheeMikeB turns in this set of raw acid, featuring a collab with Oliver Dollar and remixes by Sage Caswell, Madame and newcomer TRACE7000.

Mike has been involved in underground music since the 90's, a founding member of the legendary Banana Split party with DJ AM and Steve Aoki, Mike has also remixed and produced records with Diplo, Switch, Stretch Armstrong, Sinden, Jesse Rose, Oliver $, Sammy Bananas, Oliver and many more, featured on releases with labels such as Mad Decent, Fool's Gold, Play It Down, Dim Mak and Yoruba.

Lead track Tree House Acid sounds most at home on Turbo, reminiscent of prime Jesper Dahlback. Late At Night featuring Oliver $ is a classic-sounding slice of fat Chicago, while Let Her Back In, takes the narrative into trippier, psycho-loopy territory.

Storming remixes come courtesy of Sage Caswell, who stripped things down to raw techno, new Turbo signing TRACE7000, whose mix is a chunky late-night euro-bomb, and BNR pal Madame who brought in some tough electro power.

Dutch newcomer @trace7000music turns in a slamming debut EP.

When Turbo A&R sign a new artist, take note. The Montreal label that broke @Gesaffelstein , @dukedumont , @azariandiii , and even @chromeo have a proven track record for discovering the next big thing in electronic music. This time around it’s 22 year old Ferdous Dehzad, from a small town outside Eindhoven.

The four-track debut showcases the young DJ’s versatility and production prowess. Title track ‘Acid Habits’ sounds like golden-era M_nus, you can just see this wrecking Watergate on a great night. ‘End to End’ odes to @danielavery with marked precision, building and releasing with floor-filling skill. ‘I Believe U’ is a cool Euro-take on groovy Chicago house, while the final cut ‘Merino’ surprises with what is arguably the most potent track of all, a devastating roller of a track that has been punctuating some of @tiga ’s biggest sets this year. Frankey & Sandrino Return to Sum Over Histories with a Disco-Pop Remix of Ede & Max Joni’s Weine Nicht Kind

Frankey & Sandrino make a striking return to their own imprint, Sum Over Histories, with a long-awaited remix of Weine Nicht Kind by Ede & Max Joni — a track originally released on Watergate Records two years ago and celebrated ever since for its emotional depth and genre-bending character.

Rooted in connection and shared experience, Weine Nicht Kind is a track that speaks to vulnerability and strength in equal measure. Its marching melody, brassy bassline, and the raw, German-spoken vocal from Max Joni channel the energy of Neue Deutsche Welle, colliding Berlin’s stark expressiveness with 80s nostalgia. The original release included a Dub Mix and Max Joni’s own remix — an Indie Dance take laced with Afro House rhythms.

Now, Frankey & Sandrino add their unique touch. Inspired from the first listen, the duo transformed the track into a shimmering, groove-laden version that leans into disco-pop with their unmistakable finesse.

“Ede originally sent me the track quite some time ago,” Sandrino recalls. “Max’s voice immediately captivated me – especially because it’s sung in German. Right away, we knew we had to try a remix. As soon as we started playing around with the vocal and the bassline, everything came together quickly and naturally. We actually made the track over two years ago – and to be honest, we like it even more now than we did back then.”

Now, after sitting with the remix and letting it mature, Frankey & Sandrino are ready to share it with the world — a testament to patience, intuition, and their evolving sound.

Their remix of Weine Nicht Kind is out on May 2nd on Sum Over Histories.

Since she was a child, she soon discovered the love for the music, expecially for the piano, passion that led her very young to begin the studies for piano and classical composition.

Always attracted also from electronic music, Fae starts to play in the clubs of
her city, Rome and she turns the knowledge of musical theory into electronic sounds, using synthesizers and producing the first experimental tracks. 

A special combination of emotional melodies and infectious grooves who led her to play as DJ and performer to the best international clubs and to release the first tracks on labels like Frau Blau, Borders of light , Innuendo, Amaeolabel and getting massive support from artists like Ame, Trikk, Jimi Jules, Ivory, Echonomist, Skala, Avangart Tabldot, Re You, Sam Shure and more.

Our exploration of the uncontrollable urge to dance continues with the
40th release of Urge To Dance, this time delivered by the Sicilian duo
Modelers. A versatile and irresistibly danceable, their Pulse EP is a
fascinating example of pure craftsmanship.

The closing track is Sasawild, a classic deep dive into global tribal
roots, following a simple rule: less is more. Set around several edited
percussions loops, simple African vocals and hypnotising Aboriginal
didgeridoo, impressively emulated through the Korg MS20, this is a track
that brings out the sounds of tribal times to the present and the
future. The Pulse EP is a beautiful delivery that certainly places
Modelers on the radar a two of the very promising upcoming Artists.
