This EP starts with a collaboration between Tony Y Not (@tony-mukke)and Bonnie Spacey (@bonniespacey) and the desire to do an only women EP. Women have long been at the forefront of pushing the sonic envelope in electronic music. Although not always obvious, we decided to put them in the spotlight in an industry where they are still underrepresented.
The sounds of the three original tracks by Tony y Not and Bonnie Spacey is in line with the artistic direction of the label: clubby, sexy, dark disco!
Justine Forever (@justineforever) and Shubostar (@shubostar) were the perfect match for remixes to add a bit of a new wave synth and cosmic vibe to it.
We are proud of the girls and the WOMEN ONLY EP is intended to become a recurring meeting on Critical Monday (@criticalmondayrecords).

Tony y Not - No Mercy For Delirium (Shubostar Remix)

After a well received 50th catalog number and the latest EP from Moo Moonster & Parissior, Berlin-based
returns with its Lost Tapes series. A 10 track album from cutting edge artists deserving your attention.
Zombies in Miami, known from their releases on Running Back & Permanent Vacation kick off this release with their debut track on AEON, which had its beginning on some improvisation during a live show. The work on it continued in studio and out came „Running Again“. A song which is guided by a heavy 303 bassline, a driving arpeggiator, a dark synth melody and pregnant cowbells.
Rigopolar is no stranger to the camp. His last release on AEON was quite a success, also being found in essential playlists such as Dixon’s Track ID on Spotify. The arrangements of his songs are quite a-typical for this Italo influenced sound and therefore makes it so special. „Into The Sun“ as well is constantly evolving with small changes, grooving and driving towards its highlights. A tune to easily get lost in it.
Upcoming Lithuanian born producer and DJ Zakmina, who’s tracks already have been released on Jennifer Cardini’s Correspondant or Future Boogie continues the journey on this album with a dreamy electro/ breakbeat influenced piece. Adding some „Kraftwerk“ sounding computer voice, „Activation“ becomes a worth debut on AEON for the 25 year old.
We are also happy to welcome Vhyce, another young gun, who already made some noise with releases on Pets Recordings and Future Disco. The characteristics of his sounds are very clear and recognizable... Still he manages that his way of ‚simple‘ also turns out ‚effective‘. „Back To Where I Never Was“ can also be seen as the introduction to a massive EP following up later this year.
Russian Zakir describes himself as a producer with „meticulous attitude to forming“ of his music, reminding „of narration of a fairy tale“. „Courier 21“ tells us a story leading us through breaks, a classic 303 bassline, topped with melodies in arabic scale.
The Mexican line up on the 4th part of this Lost Tapes completes Guadalajara based My Boy Roy, who already delivered a massive remix for Alex Niggemann’s „Rise of the Machines“ back in 2020. „Chimerical“ stands out with its classic synth/new wave drums and a dark vibe bass riff, opening up with ‚sunshine like‘ melancholic break, before dropping back into its beats.
Another intro via Lost Tapes makes Rees, owner of the eclectic ‚Paradiso’ label with his uptempo tune „Dominate The Matrix“. His upcoming EP on AEON is long awaited and will include a remix from no one less than ‚Curses’.
Italian- Venezuelan Ricardo Baez, founder „Tropical Animals“ an event series in Florence, is up next with his tune „Ricordo Micidiale“ which is Italian for a very hard and strong memory, which at the same time could be a fatal or lethal memory. "This track resumes both things“, he says. Stomping 909 toms, driving bassline and choir/vocal like atmospheres might relate to the the constant battle of thoughts within minds of artists and genius minds.
Rotterdam based Machinegewehr has already made himself a name with releases on Correspondant and Amsterdam's Bordello A Parigi. With „The Maze“ the passionate drummer delivers a dreamy Nu-Italo gem with outstanding vocoder sounds and sets the bar high for his upcoming EP on AEON.
Lost Tapes Vol. 4 ends with „Mind Slave“. A track produced by Silicodisco, that finds its inspirations though the genres of Indie Dance, Future Disco and touches of post New Wave. A laid back, melodic heavy tune that perfectly rounds up an album, the AEON family is proud to present to you.

We are happy to announce the debut EP of the Rotterdam based contemporary artist and musician Silas Schletterer aka Machinegewehr. After his track ‘The Maze’ on a well received Lost Tapes Vol. 4, he is no stranger to the AEON camp anymore.
Known from his releases on Jennifer Cardini’s Correspondant and Amsterdams finest Bordello A Parigi, Machinegewehr delivers a strong 3 track debut EP with the title ‘Nutant’.
The EP kicks off with DeVilleneuve: 80's vibes are not new to the Rotterdamer, but for this track he tried something new. A dark approach yet joyful at the same time. A modern/ futuristic summer song about 2 lovers, that spend the most happy time together. For now and forever. “Life is so much better with your soulmate by your side...” Machinegewehr says and thats the message of the song.
Nothing less should be transported in the remix of the label boss Alex Niggemann. His ‘Blazing In The Sun Remix’ fully represents and lives up to the name. Happy sunny vibes inspired late 70’s Disco and early 80’s Italo a la Lime & Paul Parker, reinterpreted in a modern way. Probably the happiest song we have ever heard from Alex.
Clearly recognisable that „Down in the storm" was inspired by old school electro that uses space and trippy melodies to tell this adventurous story that keeps you focused from beginning to end.
Nutant, the title track comes closest to Machinegewehr signature sound. The classic Italo, 80's, Sci-Fi vibes, made for the dance floor. A track with lots of energy that will make you want to move, but at the same time lifts people up to follow this journey through space.
"When I finished this EP, I really wanted to look for a label that rhymed with the vibe of this new EP. As the 3 tracks are pretty different from each other, but together form an EP that to me feels new and original, AEON felt like the perfect label to me.“ Machinegewehr says.

returns with his debut EP „Enter The Realm“ on Berlin-based AEON.
Known as the owner of the eclectic ‚Paradiso’ label and releases on NEIN & Love Attack Records this long awaited EP will see the light on June 16h and will includes a remix from no one less than Curses.
With this release the Uk-based DJ expresses a darker mood in his music that he felt the urge to showcase. The music holds a great deal of energy and a glimpse into the artist's mindset.
„Dutch Willow“ is a unique track to my discography,“ Adam says. And so it is to AEON's. Already supported on several live streams during the pandemic, this track and its bassline will be stuck in your head after a short listen; carefully marching and evolving throughout with a surprising second half turn.
With its gritty arpeggios, glitching machines and a surreal ambience, Enter The Realm - the title track is screaming energy from the heart of the night.
Berlin based, NYC Born Curses known for his releases on Jennifer Cardini's Dischi Autunno & Amsterdam’s Bordello A Parigi does an incredible take the original, injecting his deadly blend of New Wave and Post-Punk magic into into it.
The closing track of this EP is named after the search project for extraterrestrial life by radio wave pattern analysis“, REES describes. „Project Phoenix“ is a chuggy, extraterrestrial exploration of cosmic synths, retro-futurism and the world of Sci-Fi.

Finding your way from an Amazonian Jungle to the clubs in Miami in the early 80s, “Deuce”, by Tal Fussman (@talfussman) dials the club from space, gets us in the side entrance with a classy retrograde hook on the synth lead. “Dissonance” Dramatic pitched lead steps towards the open gate of the neon and grey evening garden party at a grand Duke’s estate, just getting round with the hors d’oeuvres and aperitifs. You see the love of your life, talking with your arch enemy.
