Force Majeure's debut release on the 'Sulk Magic' imprint comes stocked with mind-altering treats. 
The title track 'Overawed' mesmerises with it's low-slung undulating electronics, acid flashes and arpeggio rhythms. 'Cheap Thrills' then accelerates proceedings with unfussy drums and robotic, bleep heavy melodies. 
Label owner Bird of Paradise offers up a relentless lo-fi version of the latter whilst Melbourne based Jamie Blanco provides a hustling futuristic soundscape. Damon Jee closes matters with his interpretation of 'Overawed', contributing a stripped back, double-time chugger.

AEON is a label that’s really in a rich vein of form. Following on from the success of Jenia Tarsol’s recent ‘Strom’ EP, which found it’s way into a myriad of tastemakers boxes, they welcome French man of the moment, Darlyn Vlys for a stunning EP.
The title track Traca y Pólvora is a powerful, melodic masterpiece. A driving, dynamic groove underpins an irresistible bass line anointed with, vocodered vocal snippets and huge emotional pads for an almost trancelike euphoric journey. Serpentine is similarly exciting, but darker in it’s approach. A relentless bass line is main feature here, with a broken beat just adding to the drama and sinister vocals complete the vibe with devastating effect.
Remix duties are fulfilled by Cooper Saver, with his first outing on the label, and label stalwarts Speaking Minds and Amarcord. Cooper Saver has been in fine form of late. His recent release, 'The Search' on Permanent Vacation was huge and is still being hammered in the clubs. Here he takes on Traca y Pólvora with a stunning remix. A slightly lighter take on the original with an easy groove and a moving bass line that makes this the perfect end of the night track.  Meanwhile, Speaking Minds and Amarcord take on Serpentine for their ‘Club Tool Mix’. Their approach is a dark affair, with linear moody elements throughout which takes the track into peak time ‘strobe and smoke’ territory.
A powerful and impressive package throughout here and yet another stamp of quality from a fine label. File this under Big Room Moments!

The tenth reference of the digital series of Dogs & Vultures Records is signed by the Mexican producer Montessori aka Alfredo Cardenas in collaboration with the producer,DJ and vocalist Badmoiselle (Montessori is also part of the FLXXX project and the Label Innisfallen Records with Andrés Gomez aka Andrem), . Aircraft Reel and Fanjoyen are the original cuts of the ep, built under a line clearly focused on the dance floor and with a fine balance between the early hours of the night or those of a good after. The remixes come in charge of the Mexicans Rigopolar and Colossio, both well known in the scene and with a great doing in all their productions. Also the Italians Younger Than Me, more focused this time on their sound '90's rave' than in previous productions, and the French Dombrance, component of the band DBFC and Recently interviewed by strong media like Vanity Fair or the television channel France 24 by the success of their new album, ''Raffarin'' they will also be able to listen to the work of DBFC in the Gucci Men's Fall / Winter 2014-15 Runway Show! As soon as we realized just how serious the COVID19 situation was, all of us here at AEON Towers felt strongly that we must try to do something to help.

The virus had put an end to all live events so putting on an AEON party for charity wasn’t an option. With that in mind we felt we should do something around the label. It was also important to us to involve our AEON family too which is why the obvious answer was to open up some of our catalogue by way of a remix competition, with the winning remixes being released and all the profit being donated to the WHO COVID19 Response Fund.

We were mind blown and humbled by, not only the number of remixes that were submitted, but also the high quality of the music. It made choosing the best ones a very difficult task. We think we chose the best ones though, and we will release the results on July 3rd via Bandcamp only.

To those of you who can afford it, please dig deep and help us raise some money for a very good cause!

[PREMIERE] Sex Kino - Scream In The City (Cabizbajo Remix)

Relish Compilation VII features tracks and remixes by AHEADACHEADAY, ELIEZER w/ Zillas on Acid and Dangur, M Love, Headman, Mufti feat. Vongold, Franz & Shape and Modular Project.

The Compilation starts off with Alberto de Angeli aka AHEADACHEADAY. A dark slow motion synth laden track with Burundi beat undertones. 
Tel Aviv’s Eliezer collaborated w/ Zillas on Acid on Anna Bella. The vocals are by Isadora. The song is trippy, hypnotic and percussive.
M Love’s Price is his 3rd release on Relish. New World was featured on REPIX. New Wave and Krautrock infused techno for the momentarily absent dancefloors.This time a bit harder and less melodic. Devoleb is a new Headman track. The original idea was to rework an old track, but while working on it something new came out. The track is an example of Post Punk Disco, 808 drummachines and Basslines that reminds one of Motorik retro futurist funk. Crimson is by Eliezer and Dangur with again vocals from Isadora. This version is a bit more uptempo, again with a tribal nearly ethnic feel with guitars and percussion that slide in and out dubbing everything. Mufti feat Vongold contributed already on REPXI. False Guru has a similar  Mexican underground vibe, dark arpeggio synths, driving drums and  mystic vocals by Vongold.
Headman’s Be Loved original version was released in 2011. First remixed by Daniel Avery on the homonymous single. Modular Project remixed the version again and turned it into a high energy dark Giorgio Moroder-esque interpretation keeping loads of sounds and the poppy vocals from the original. Franz & Shape who have been part of Relish since the early days contributed N.u.m.b.. The vocals are by Matt Southall from the UK band Officers. The remix is by Croatian electronica producer Petar Dundov. He added vocoders and gave a nice retro-italo feel to the original version.
