i know that in the tapemusic community im considered the guy who only flips house music nowadays LOL but its for a good reason and it comes from a personal place. hearing my dad put on todd terry for the first time as a kid was an experience that cant really be unmatched in my mind, it was like opening a whole can of worms on a genre that i felt was almost tailored specifically for me. house music is the reason i love music as much as i do, it invigorated a passion that i didn't have before and it saved my life on numerous occasions. there is no possible way that i could fully articulate what house music has done for me in just a simple paragraph, so i feel the best way to do it is to list all the house artists that changed my life and ultimately led to the creation of this album.
