Flush is a new project I started in order to release all edits and reworks I do on planes and in airport lounges. It will be focused on House Music from the early days. Often sample-based but not always, it's a mixture of Chicago House and French Touch a la Crydamoure. Initially the plan was to just put these out on the internet, but the people at Strictly Rhythm thought the first song “Come Back Baby" was good enough to release.

"Come Back Baby" will be available on iTunes and Spotify this Friday, July 31.

In both songs I wanted to try to emulate elements of some early house records I love. Specifically, the simple yet elaborate chords riffs, which are what I’ve always been most drawn to. The other element I wanted was a chopped vocal sample. I couldn’t find any that worked, so I made some myself (thanks Jamie & Vanessa!). I’m hoping the end result are two musical, danceable, positive tracks! If life is a book, page one is LOVE.

This June sees the welcome return to Eskimo Recordings of one of their biggest names, Italian-Belgian producer Vito De Luca aka Aeroplane. Following on from remixes for some of pop's biggest names, including Justin Timberlake and Charlie XCX and acclaimed releases on labels such as Defected, Glitterbox and Spinnin' Deep Vito returns to where it all began for him with the guaranteed summer smash, 'Body'.

Featuring vocals from Belgian singer Yves Paquet, 'Body' is classic Aeroplane. Drawing on influences such as Italo, Balearic disco and early house music and marrying them to an unashamedly pop sound Vito has again created the kind of life affirming track that is sure to soundtrack summer 2018.

“Body started when Yves got in touch with me, wondering if we could work together." Explains Vito. "He had sent me a few bits to showcase his voice and songwriting ability, one of them was Body. The vocal has a classic quality to it that got stuck in my head instantly. Within a few days, with some little tweaks, we had a song!”

If Aeroplane's recent single 'Body', featuring Yves Paquet on vocals, launched this summer's extended heatwave then Simon Le Saint's new remix is a direct result of the track's prolonged exposure to the sun the past few months. As the leaves begin to change to autumnal hues, the thermometer drops and the nights draw in Le Saint's tropical remix complete with sinuous acoustic guitar, steel drums and an exotic, sensual rhythm is a welcome reminder of the balmy summer nights that have passed.With DJ skills extended from Hip Hop to Pop and House, the Mexico born Belgian Simon Le Saint already has a strong name in the nightlife scene. As a musician, he performs as a drummer for French artist Sebastien Tellier and Belgian global superstar Stromae, including perfomances at Coachella, SXSW festivals in the US and at the infamous Stade de France in Paris. Not to mention the biggest Arenas in the World including the mighty Madison Square Garden in New York.

Simon was behind the decks at most aftershow parties all around the world and shared the decks with some of his peers including DJ Premier, Jazzy Jeff, Pete Rock, Felix Da Housecat, Kenny Dope, Lil Louis, Kerri Chandler, Miguel Campbell, Aeroplane, Dimitri From Paris and John Morales. As a producer he worked with hip hop, pop and reggae artists as well as European pop superstar Vaya Con Dios, gaining him several Gold and Platinum awards.
