Aery is an alternative electronic indie duo formed by Swedish artists Mi von Ahn and Joel Gabrielsson. Finding common ground in their love for soundscapes and experimental electronic music, and their diverse nomadic childhoods, they began writing music together a couple of years ago.

A larger part of the process has taken place remotely and in correspondence as they are based in different parts of the country. Coincidentally, this has also underpinned their vision to allow the music to evolve in its own direction, and out of a broad range of intentional influences from chamber-music to 90s triphop, distill it into its own sonic vehicle. Aery could either be described as a compromise or an embrace of what lies in the middle of the duo's own artistic intentions.

Mi von Ahn has released two solo albums, EPs and singles, toured as support for The Soundtrack of Our Lives and Christian Kjellvander, played on TV and was noticed by international magazines such as Clash Magazine.

Joel Gabrielsson has released EPs and singles under his own name, an album under the name Flyinglow, labelled a 'pop curiosty' in Rolling Stone (FR) and has been aired on radio around Europe.

The band is set to release their debut album in 2025.
