Mix Master Kutyma, the Paris-based DJ and producer renowned for his far-out megamix style. His sets are a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious blend of ghettotech, breakbeat hardcore, jungle techno and electro infused with the energetic pulse of acid house and the classic vibe of 1991-1992 rave scene. The mix includes two classic cuts from The Finest FU FU Recordz! that were released as a part of VA Big Time Rush Vol. 2 & 3 and a bad boy tune from the man like dpcld from his Rough Basics EP, three pumping ghettobass bangers from the modern dance music era , some essential 1991-1993 UK hardcore rave tracks and an absolutely wicked 1989 house track from Clubhouse Records.

Somewhere between memory sediment and subconscious drift, “Les matières errantes” marks the second solo expedition of the Sous Traitance timeline, this time led by Catarsis (aka Mathieu Bonnafous).

This new EP from the Parisian producer gathers four elusive productions, each one forged in a different temporal layer across a period of seven years. Oscillating between states, they reveal a raw urge to blur genre borders, where bass-heavy architectures bend into murky techno spirals, breakbeat fragments dissolve into dubstep low-frequency voids, and drum & bass pulses flirt with collapse. There’s no linear path here, only shifting zones and unstable rhythms, moving like tectonic plates beneath the surface of club logic.

A disjointed archive, a driftwork of forms—"Les matières errantes” doesn’t narrate a story so much as it exposes its own erosion. It’s a confrontation of industrial and natural environments for an unique, organic sound, making Catartsis a key figure in the renewal of the French Techno scene.
