"Through My Eyes" (Edit.: Mastered with iZotope Ozone 11 on December 4th, 2023)

This is a partly improvised "smooth jazz" or "lounge" track made as a humble tribute to my - for the most part American - collection of the wonderful musical adventure called smooth jazz that has given me so much over the years (maybe also the term "Westcoast music" could be relevant here). 

I shall call this track "Through My Eyes" because it kind of tries to capture and present something about the American smooth jazz tradition - as seen through my eyes. 

This track was loosely inspired first by Mr. Keith Jarrett's two wonderful songs, "The Good America" and "Country" which both express an enormously positive and hymn-like feeling, and second by Johannes Brahms' Symphony No. 3 in F Major, III. Poco allegretto (Op. 90), the beauty of which has been "haunting" me for many years (and maybe also to some extent by Mozart's Symphony No. 40, I. Molto allegro, and Schubert's Symphony No. 8 "Unfinished", I. Allegro moderato, etc.).

I have not found out much about the origins of the two Mr. Jarrett's songs but in a recent interview he talks about them and rightly describes - if I understood correctly - the song "The Good America" as almost like a prayer. I also got the impression that both of these two Mr. Jarrett's songs kind of represent a view of America. 

I have also gotten inspiration here from the music of one of my all-time favorite jazz bands Spyro Gyra and from all the wonderful music that Mr. Carlos Santana has provided to the world. Last but not least as a source of inspiration I shall mention the music of Mr. Burt Bacharach (especially his breath-taking song "Bells of St. Augustine"). There is again also a bunch of other classical and popular music and jazz lurking on the background as a source of inspiration. 

The instruments and plugins I have been privileged to use here are once again my old workhorse Korg SGProX digital stage piano (master keyboard), Yamaha Montage 8 synthesizer (CFX Concert) and the wonderful instruments from Scarbee (Rhodes, EP-88S), Native Instruments (Abbey Road 80s Drummer), the UVI SonicPass and Arturia V Collection. The drum grooves, fills etc. are from the 80s Drummer and edited by me.

Someone once tried to Hypnotise me as a way of getting into my Past life Soul experience. There was No result....Within myself I realise that this is an Invasion of Privacy. I call this Tech nosis, very often without the person performing it being aware that they are being Used so deceptively. Our Past Lives are as Private as our Present and Future lives. By that I mean that noone has the Right (usually for corrupt money payment, or during their course of 'training') to enter anyone's Personal life and Thoughts to give a human a sense of 'no sense', lostness or ruin, by use of the Net-WorkMatrix. As humans we only Share what we Want to share. I believe the person trying to do this was distracted too much by Material things and Money, and so Subconsciously allowed themselves to be used in that way.  Those that have no remorse for these actions, I have no words for them.

Social media is presenting a very Dark Vibe these days throughout several platforms. A dangerous combination of Intellect and Tech-wise manipulation, narcissism and Gaslighting Tech-niques within Temptation of corrupt money. I call this Anti-Social media. Yes there Is something we can do about it...Witness it, Talk to it if you Want to, Touch it if you Want to...but please do not Drop and Join it.( re the saying, 'If you can't Beat em, Join them')You might endure Pressure, Pain and a feeling of Rejection and Failure, as well as the low frequency taunts and false accusations from those using their insecurities against you (Toxic behaviour). The Pain is part of your Growth, and the perpetrators can make it difficult, but don't back down to any kind of Victim blame..the Pressure is only part of a System that You consequently Reject. And how can You feel rejected when you are Always moving Forward to new Earth, away from the dark Cloud and Satellite system. I like to be Here, Without being There if you get me. If you Don't get me, and are using the Net in a deceptive way, I Will reject you and any other form of Technical advances. Those of us using the net for Positive purposes will not get Driven away by the Dark web...and it's Attempts of Spirit Curse, Monitoring Spirits, and Interference in our Soul development. This is Satanism, and there is no such thing as Good Satanism. Please do not blame the Device of internet, only those who are Using it in a bad way. 

Please try Not to be under Technosis whilst using this thing called the InterNet, no matter how much corrupt money you were tempted with ( maybe Some of you are doing it just for the Kick). We can See you....And Awakening People Go your Own way🕊️We are all here to Help each other. The use of Balancing Dark and Light does not include Satanism (Shadows) in any way.

I would rather walk through Complete Darkness than be in Shadows...

The Righteous Brothers were one of the most inspiring music acts to me growing up in the 60’s. I always dreamed of singing like Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield  and this song is one of their numerous classics of the era. Written by Cynthia Well and Barry Mann, I made a raw iPhone recording and simply added some harmony vocals, complete with living room noises and generally lo-fi ambience. But I thought it captured my passion for those times and those dreams of my younger days. Dedicated to the yellow roses...

Then and Now

First, I would like to say thank you for reading this. That means that you liked my songs enough to see what I’m about. That means a lot to me.
I’m a working man and a family man. The years digging ditches and breaking my back to put food on the table, has given me enough ammo to write a song or two. I like to write songs about real life with all of its struggles, beauty and grit…

In this digital age of perfect music I'm trying to leave the human imperfections in the tracks. Most parts are done straight through with no splices. A missed note or chord here or there, bit out of time...trying to keep it raw. Maybe I go too far sometimes?

I don't play games on SoundCloud. If I like your music ill like it and follow you. I wont unfollow you even if you don't follow me back!  If you do I'll be delighted though!
