Here is something a bit different. I was working one day and made this tune up in my head. I attempted to record it and hope you all enjoy it to some degree. I haven't played the flute in a long time, so I'm a bit rusty, but anyway...

Been through all the ups and downs , but now we're looking down From Higher Ground . Hope you like this ! On the 1st of Feb' I'll be releasing a Country Rock song with a great Sax player , Greg Willis , you'll see him pop up quite a bit on future tracks . First, I would like to say thank you for reading this. That means that you liked my songs enough to see what I’m about. That means a lot to me.
I’m a working man and a family man. The years digging ditches and breaking my back to put food on the table, has given me enough ammo to write a song or two. I like to write songs about real life with all of its struggles, beauty and grit…

In this digital age of perfect music I'm trying to leave the human imperfections in the tracks. Most parts are done straight through with no splices. A missed note or chord here or there, bit out of time...trying to keep it raw. Maybe I go too far sometimes?
