Along with thousands of messages sent in from around the world, artists on Optimo Music were asked to write something to be printed out and read to Keith while he was still with us. Every opportunity was taken, when appropriate, to tell him how loved and respected he was.

What you and Jonnie have built up and then tirelessly nourished together for nearly 30 years with Optimo is astounding. Fellow DJs know that attending clubs as a punter is a ‘busman's holiday’: we usually wish we were playing ourselves, and often only the very best will get us moving. One of the only times I've ever seen you dance was during my live Logtoad set in 2017 (I've put this on my CV*), but I've spent thousands of hours over the decades moved by your selections and loving the way you mix them. Hurtado is a young Spanish artist based in Berlin. After almost 10 years in the scene, his musical proposal can be defined as a symbiosis between past and future, highly influenced by the Birmingham and Eastern European scene, full of broken and forceful rhythms. As a producer, he has collaborated with the likes of Regis and together with one of his best allies, UVB, he forms the duo "Education Club".

The first international edition of SOLOIKISMOS, an international interdisciplinary poetry festival, takes place on 25–26 October 2025 in Elafotopos, Zagori. Placing poetry at its core, this mixtape seeks to weave together words, soundscapes and music using solecism as its compound and anchor.
