Surface Tension

Once referred to as "Ulrich Schnauss with distortion", Aetherius' creative journey began in 2007 after receiving a MIDI controller for Christmas. Drawing on inspiration from artists such as Aphex Twin, Four Tet and Nine Inch Nails, as well as countless film and video game scores, Aetherius has been writing and recording instrumental music since high school. Using multiple styles ranging from ambient, downtempo, house, drum & bass and more, Aetherius aims to break down walls between these genres and blend them together.
