The Flight

I remixed this old ringtone to train my mixing skills a bit.
First half of the video: The original song (midi version); Second half - New remade version.
I keep thinking about doing a series where I remix old polyphonic songs. 🤔 I am often surprised by the level of compositional complexity that some composers could achieve using only a few audio tracks and within the limitations of MIDI, SMF formats.

Summer dream.mid Ringtone Remixed (Before & After versions)

As you can guess, these are some of the thoughts which inspired this theme. First ideas for this project started appearing in the summer of 2018. I hope that you like it and if you have the time, please leave a comment. ;)

Above the mountains

I imagined kids from a distant past playing in the gentle rain and lighten up by a calm and warm setting sun, from those summer days which seemed to never end... And yet, long gone and forgotten ... will we ever find that childish innocence while looking within ourselves ? Is all Lost ? Can it be Found ?

This project started in the spring of 2018 while playing with some presets from AIR Hybrid and MiniV. Then, of course, I got bored and abandoned it, occasionally resumed and improved, abandoned it again, and so on ...  like ... yeah... most of my work 😅.  

As I have a bad habit of always coming back and refine stuff, I may change some things  here and there in the future. Anyway, I hope you like it (as it is for now) and thank you for listening.
