It became so easy for me to forget why I do this, and why I've always done this. It became so easy to compare myself to others and to always crave that tighter mixdown or that snappier snare... A bit silly, really.

At the end of the day, I started this 'Aeuria' project to simply share, expand, grow, and log all of the things I didn't express in any other way than music. That's it. So please excuse my rough edges and engineering nightmares. Because I see things like handwriting...everyone does it a different way, and everyone holds the pen a bit differently...and everyone says different things.

This is a night where I see past the music. Production or writing doesn't matter. I just want to make note of where I am, where I've come from and where I plan to go. I've been back and fourth about the Aeuria project for some time. Wishy-washy, they say. But really, what is it about? Like really really....its about nothing. Its expression, it doesn't have to be good or set a standard. Everyone's handwriting is different. Everyone's voice is different. We all share these brief moments of ultimate understanding, and ignorance. We lose ourselves in eachother, and ultimately us.... As a whole.

I felt as if I recently hit rock bottom, musically and creatively. I was kind of a well run dry or so to speak.

I think the secret to creation though is instant and genuine expression - the result is only the result but the process is so much more important. Do you ever feel like the road trip is almost better than the destination....or at least more exciting? The end is always so hard to imagine but its easy to be excited for the process. Stop comparing yourself and just make what you love.
