I'm fighting with this track for a long time now. First drafts were created back in 2018 august. At the moment it was a post-rock / progressive rock epic that included every trick and practice i knew about music composition. Then i stopped writing music for a few years and it stayed in it's unreleased demo form for long.

Since last year i started this new electronic project, i thought some of my older, unrealised music should be repurposed to finally come to life. I pictured it will be a quite easy task.

Well, it was an extremely hard undertaking for me to strip this one to it's bare minimums and reshape it into a more ambient / chillout sounding thingy. But i learned so much about music and myself along the way...
I've written and erased melodies and chords in this track for so long that i could have written a whole album from the deleted ideas only.

The cover art is a Midjourney generated image with a strong influence from The Fountain (2006), a movie in which a man learns to let things go and embrace fate after a 500 years long journey. I think it is rather fitting.

We finished a song from 2018 for this entry. It will be up Bandcamp at the end of the month, when we have enough to make it into a proper compilation and when it has more polish done to mixing/mastering.

At the highest point of the world's spine, where condors circle above the abyss and the wind sings with the voice of ancestors, rises a living mountain range. There, on the peak where the sky curves and the earth breathes, Pachamama murmurs her eternal hymn, a whisper that travels through the rivers like an echo of lost but still throbbing times.
Every dawn, the charangos awaken the shadows with their vibration of wood and soul. The quenas, like tongues of wind, call to the sun from the folds of the horizon. In every valley, the colors of life intertwine like threads in a cosmic loom: red of ancestral blood, blue of celestial dreams, green of hope that never dies.
The hikers who dare to walk its paths not only tread on earth: they tread on history. Every step is a prayer, every stone a memory, every summit an altar. The clouds bow in reverence, and the stars, like eternal witnesses, align to listen to the songs that still echo in the air.
On cold nights, when the moon peers out like a silver eye, the rivers shimmer like liquid serpents seeking the heart of the world. The tambos, guardians of time, whisper secrets to those who know how to listen. And in the fire that dances under the starry sky, ancient spirits take form, celebrating the eternity of their home.
Because the Andes are not just mountains. They are a cradle, a temple, a voice. And as long as there is fog, rain, and a soul that listens, their song will never fade.
