This is a WIP as of yet, but I felt like sharing it. I don't have the optimal equipment for recording, so the sound is a little so-so, but I'm hoping to improve it over time.

Save The Night

A friend of mine was having her baby boy baptised, and the night before, I suddenly had the idea that I should write a song. So I did. This is it.

Note: I don't know how to use my equpiment. Like, I really don't. So this is recorded in GarageBand, despite the fact that I have LogicPro. Also, couldn't figure out how to use the drum kits, so I ended up ... ahem ... making any and all percussive sounds myself. I am not even going to try to pretend that this is something I'm good at.

But, anyway, I really liked how the harmonies turned out. The entire song was written in less than an hour, so the lyrics and chord progressions are a tad generic, but ... whatever. I thought it ended up sounding quite cute.

Oh, and if anyone out there happens to live in Oslo and feels like giving me a free course in how to use LogicPro (properly) and other useful equipment, let me know! I'll ... um ... dedicate my first theoretical album to you. Or something.
