AEX - Beneath My Prayers

AEX was born out of the ashes of the known secular band, 23RAINYDAYS. Ian Kaine MacGregor and Ravi Rao had become disillusioned with record labels, promoters, showcases, MTV/VH1 performances, and years of touring without any spiritual reward. In their own time, they cut their losses and decided to walk away from the music industry.

Several years later, the two reconnected and discovered a shared vision of ministry through music. With new goals and a new sound, they added vocalist Devin Patrick, and AEX released their debut album "First Shall Be Last" on 05/23/18.

The album has been well received by fans and the Christian Metal media. Dan from The Christian Metal Forum wrote “I’ve been listening to this record all day. Christian metal has needed this sound for a while.” AEX have been featured on COR Radio, Reanimated Radio, and are being added to rotation on Tri-Rock Radio.

Drifting between alternative and nu metal styles, AEX signature is a hybrid of melodic and guttural vocals. Their songs are also hallmarks as they focus on themes of worship, eschatology, and biblical storytelling over a backdrop of powerful production and cinematic sound design.
