Growing up Kobe was always my inspiration. His mentality and the way he approached the game and the game of life was something I aspired to be like. I always wrote Mamba on my hockey sticks as a reminder to be give everything I have and leave everything out on the ice. When I left hockey I always said once I find that thing outside of hockey that ignites this burning desire to be the best I can be. I’ll give it everything I have. So with that said, it only makes sense to dedicate my debut track “Black Mamba” to Kobe.
