Ascension is my latest installment in the chillstep realm of music. There's something so haunting and eerie, yet beautiful, to this track. As if you know a tragic event is about to happen, yet you can't help but dream it will all go away.
The choice to use Cyberpunk: Edgerunners as a recurring theme in the visuals throughout the promotional phase and the videos stems from an innate love for the cyberworld, the dark, obscure realm of technology and A.I.
I hope you enjoy this track and it gives you the same emotions I felt listening back to it once I finished it. 🤍

🌸 Natsukashii 3.0 🌸 also read as 懐かしい , is the continuation of the Asian Chillstep saga i started a few years ago. Take the original chillstep formula: chill beats, melodic dubstep groove with warm soft pads, a swirling vibe of percussions, asian instruments ranging from the Erhu to the Shakuhachi to the Guzheng, it's all in there. It's nearly that time of the year again too: the blossoming of the cherry trees. So why not appreciate nature and the colours it delivers us constantly with a new track inspired straight from that country. The cherry blossoms in Japan are some of the most inspiring visuals I have yet to come across. I hope you are as inspired as I am when seeing and hearing these videos and soundscapes 🤍.
