Now it's getting really fast! The Austrian producer duo Mieux / @mieuxmusic (Christoph Prager & Felix Wolfersberger) has teamed up with young grime artist @cadell from East London. The result is the impulsive high-speed-cracker "In My Prime" on which Cadell raps impressively about the challenges of his career so far.

Fun fact and equally true story: The instrumental was made with a mono synth on a hot summer afternoon on the Croatian beach. And it is also true that Christoph & Felix actually worked up the most sampled loop in music history. File under: Breakbeat Love.

It feels like DC microwaved his MicroKorg to create "Trilingual Dance Sexperience", a track that reminds of an endlessly monumental pitchbend orgy without any barrier of language. A tune that gets people to go bonkers once the chords hit in, characterized by its pleasing silliness with the accurate rave attitude.

No surprise it already got rinsed by Mark Pritchard, Kode9, Martyn and Hudson Mohawke and heard on Gilles Peterson’s WorldWide and Mary-Anne-Hobbs’s Experimental. Also Side B with its "Tropical Hands" follows the same recipe of face melting floor music while keeping that Detroit flavour.

Vienna based producer duo Ogris Debris hit the streets with brandnew tracks from their laboratory. „Next Life“ is a peak time statement of hypnotic grooves and eccentric vocals. Think: obscure late night rooms, a rough blueprint turning into a funky frisky roller with a masterful twist. „Around Here“ on the flip side is an intense ride - floating velvet vocals melt with rich acoustic textures and the infamous Ogris Debris trademark sound.

Mysterious phenomenon The Reboot Joy Confession takes us one level deeper, straight into his world of Psychedelica with cinematic strings and mighty sub-bass. Ogris Debris - Next Life [12" Teaser]

"Under My Skin" part of the album "Womb" by Wandl.

Wandl, the progressive 25-year-old producer, musician and vocalist from Vienna, is back with his second solo album, "Womb". Following the success of his debut release "It's All Good Tho" (2017), an extensive tour with Bilderbuch in Germany, a performance at Primavera Sound in Barcelona (2018) and several artistic projects (2019), "the master of broken loops" now delivers a self-produced and highly condensed work of about 25 minutes that focuses on the dark chords of the emotional keyboard.

With "Womb", Wandl engages in musical interspaces where potential clarity gradually dissolve into the nebulous blanket of the night. In the midst, Wandl's distinct voice unites with his characteristic soundscapes and the warm euphony of the piano. His songs deal with self-doubt, emotional inhibition, freedom found in loneliness, undesired social acknowledgement, transcendence and the arrival in the womb of an unexpected maternal reconnection. In the end there is even yodeling.

The usual platitudes of the new economy as crude maximization strategies are thus safely ignored: Wandl is a genre unto itself. Something for your mind, body and soul – in the best sense of the word.

What happens when two like-minded producers get together in Vienna and spend a day together in the studio? Lots of cables and lots of fun! Monophobe is a meticulous producer with well-honed precision tools in his drawer. He mainly takes these out to oscillate between experiment and club. 

Sixtus Preiss is also a specialist for sound design but also for handmade microphones and the multi-instrumentalist is able to pull out surprising and maverick jazz fragments out of his hat. With the collaboration "Jaune" the two of them deliver the honey-colored soundtrack of late summer 2020.
