Afincado en Estocolmo/Suecia, Lakej [ Lækeɪ ] emerge de una larga herencia del techno sueco. Tras muchos años de exploración para refinar su sonido, debutó en el sello Grey Report con el EP en solitario Structural Cohesion.
Este debut presentó un tema que guiaría no sólo su sonido, sino también sus conceptos y títulos hasta la fecha. 

Con un gran amor por los detalles y las estructuras rítmicas, su música ha evolucionado hacia un sonido introspectivo, futurista y atemporal. Con texturas intrincadas, atmósferas y ritmos profundos, su música invita a dejarse llevar a estados hipnóticos, tanto en la comodidad del propio espacio de escucha como en la pista de baile.

 Desde su debut, su producción ha sido constante en sellos de renombre como Semantica, NON Series, Faut Section, Nachtstrom Schallplatten y Soma.

Based in Stockholm/Sweden, Lakej [ Lækeɪ ] emerges from a long heritage of Swedish techno. After many years of explorations to refine his sound, he debuted on Adriana Lopez label Grey Report with the solo EP Structural Cohesion.

This debut presented a theme that would guide not only his sound but also his concepts and titles to this current date.

With a huge love for details and rhythmic structures his music has evolved into an introspective, futuristic and yet timeless sound. With intricate textures, atmospheres and deep driving rhythms his music invites you to be swept away into hypnotic states, both in comfort of your own listening space as well as on the dance floor.

Since the debut his output has been steady on well established labels such as Semantica, NON Series, Faut Section, Nachtstrom Schallplatten and Soma.

A name that will be around for years to come without a shadow of a doubt. Adrian works relentlessly behind the scenes and in my eyes is one of the best producers I know.. therefore it is a pleasure to have him kick things off with an hour of electrifying techno.

Kostas aka @againstmesc is a greek Berlin-based DJ, Producer & co-founder of SOCIETY 3000 and core member of USM Recordings.

The project “AgainstMe” started back in 2017 on his home island Lesvos, Greece and it stands for the continuous fight with ourselves to align our inner voice with our soul and beliefs.

In 2014, at the age of 16 years old, he first discovered his passion for DJing and producing and he did his first steps into the music industry under a different alias in a wider range of electronic music. His music has been released on different labels around the world, but as he was at a very young age, he was still discovering his self and what style of music expresses him the most.

The project “AgainstMe” came to life two years later after his first Rave / Techno parties in Lesvos, Greece.  For him at that point, techno music was something completely new, uniting and revolutionary which was going against everything that he had experienced before. The distorted melodies and the heavy drum patterns along with the ritualistic vibe of these parties made him immediately fall in love with everything around this sound and what it stands for.
 
Since then, his music got released on different record labels around the world. Some of the most important releases during the last years were, his album “Synopsis” in Subsist, “Tension Seeker” in Warok and "Defend" In VOXNOX.

He already enjoyed support from artists like Dax J, DVS1, Rodhad, K-Hand, Mikael Delta, Richie Hawtin, Temudo, Kanding Ray and many more.

For him, the absolute goal of a DJ  is to connect with the crowd and build a unique moment together. So his sound could be characterized as multidimensional, energetic and storytelling. Some of the venues/parties he performed at are RSO, Corsica Studios, QRECLAIM, Astron Bar.

Currently, he is experimenting a lot with Modular Systems and unorthodox techniques in his studio in Berlin.

Introducing Hugo Rolan, his trajectory serves as an inspiring reminder that a philosophy based on dedication and perseverance can lead to well-deserved recognition. Regarding achievement, noise takes forms, as the clamor during the journey or the applause at the finish line.

In a social media generation and instant gratification, the allure of external validation is enticing. However, it's a double-edged sword. It can cause self-doubt and a distorted self-image. Silent effort, however, breeds introspection, concentration, and resilience. It helps you enjoy your work to align it closer to your inner self. It enables progress purely on intrinsic motivation, without external validation.

While applause is flattering, it's fleeting. Instead, distinction is seldom a matter of luck or overnight success.

It involves maintaining steady enthusiasm, consistency, and regular progress. It keeps you anchored and engaged in your growth regardless of detours or hurdles. When you consistently perform well, you command respect without speaking a word. Your success becomes the best testament to your commitment, sweating out in speechlessness, far louder and more effective than any proclamation.

Let your efforts be the loudest report of your untiring discipline, building character, and achieving your goals while preserving your inner peace. Your victory will be sweeter, will stem for you rather than a clapping. So, stay determined to yourself, work hard in silence, and let your art make the noise.

With the Art of Hugo Rolan, the sci-fi master allows us to move by twin groove. Hypnosis and science merged in one spirit. Clanging spacial sounds with contemporary rhythms. Dark, dreamy atmospheres and the raw, echoing, and forceful beats make for a compelling trip.

▸ When techno is in your DNA you don't need additional translation to understand it. This is the case of Hugo Rolan, from Asturias, north of Spain, who has been exposed to techno and futuristic sounds since his adolescence, and now in his maturity, he masters the language to perfection.

Being primarily DJing for two decades, remaining under the radar of the scene, working in conventional day job. In his spare time, he learned production skills, delving into music creation software and hardware, and training hard and quietly until he felt it was time to public his work.

The wait worth it, in 2022 his first work was published on one of the most recognized ceiling labels, Warm Up, managed by Oscar Mulero, a interesting debut album, full of techno.

His second reference is released on one of the most important labels worldwide, Axis Records, owned by Jeff Mills, a work that makes us get closer to his creativity and gives us an idea of where his sound is heading.

Facilitating him works on Incense, Legend 1997, Illegal Alien, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, SUB_tl, Prophet, Semantica, FautSection, Abstract Mechanisms, Edit Select, Fenómenos, West Rules, KeyHole, Voyager and Loopaina Records.

Lanna Club's resident, and example of a true techno lover, loving carefully until the right moment puts him in the desired place.

In the 112th episode of Techno Cartel Podcast we are pleased to host Carmelo Ponente.

Driven by a love of the techno scene, but especially after discovering Fuse, an iconic Belgian club, Carmelo Ponente slowly but surely fell in love with textures, distortions and raw sounds. After a long period of hesitation, he decided to bring his passion to life, creating tracks that are released today on labels such as Newrhythmic Records, TMM Recordings, Subsists Records, Bahn Records, Format Records, Postdynamic Records, …. and supported by artists such as Tommy Four Seven, Lewis Fautzi, Zadig, Lakej, Casual Treatment, Adriana Lopez, Dave Clarke and many others.

His desire to return to the decks was becoming stronger and stronger. In 2023, it was time for him to return to this passion, which also allows him to express his love of the scene and he has produced two podcasts for TMM Recordings and Dwarf Planet Series. 2024 is shaping up to be just as exciting, because after playing in Lille alongside Linear System, Falling Echoes, Yrsen & Subtil, several podcasts are scheduled during this year, including this one !

The latest podcast features Fixeer, one of the most well known Mexican DJs and producers on the global techno scene and member of Illegal Alien Records. Currently and for the last 20 years he has trained as a teacher to several generations of DJs and producers in Mexico, at the G Martell Music University.

He also develops his career as an event producer with “From Mini to Tech”, where he has invited artists such as Truncate, Rebekah, Oscar Mulero, Developer, Tommy Four Seven, and more. 

His productions have taken his tracks to the most recognized dance floors and clubs from around the globe with the likes of Ben Sims, Pfirter, Kr!z, Oscar Mulero, Lewis Fawtzi, James Ruskin, DVS1, Sleeparchive, Kessell, Tensal, Dimi Angelis, SLAM, and others.

At the end of 2017, he launched his own label called “Human Recs.” signing new talents and already established artists within international Techno music. 

He has published his music on major labels around the world such as: Aine (Pole Group Sub label), SOMA, Granulart Recordings, Suara, Tsunami Records, Faut Section, MindTrip, Dynamic Reflection, Newrhythmic Recs, Analog Solutions, ANAOH, Animal Farm, Injected Poison, Spectral Rebel etc.

He played at the legendary Tresor, ://about blank in Berlin, Instytut Festival, Audioriver, Wisłoujście and also in the best clubs in Poland. His sets were published via leading podcast series such as Invite's Choice and Lost In Ether. Within the Mødule event series, he hosted many PL debuts including Zadig, UVB, D.Dan, P.E.A.R.L. or Setaoc Mass to name a few. Club savage with no fear of any dancefloor.

Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the Spanish dj & producer PWCCA  (Hardtools Records / Inducted Waves).

PWCCA aka Dr Cyanide, born in Madrid on April 26, 1979.
He started in the world of electronic music in 1995, he took his first contact with some dishes in a pub located in his area, driven by a friend who worked in it.
Firstly, he showed progressive and house sounds, but not take long to opt for more underground trends, influenced by large techno producers such as James Ruskin, Richard Polson, Christian Wünsch, Portion reform, Regis or Surgeon among others.
In 1996 and is interested in how to produce electronic music using software and hardware, creating his first beats with a Roland TR 606 and the software for rhythms "Hammer". 
From that year until 2000, he works as a DJ in various clubs around the city and also gaining experience as a producer.
That same year put into operation with another partner, the only franchise from the famous brand Phrenetic Society, owned by Cristian Varela, where he taught in school and teacher in production Dj midi / audio, adding to these activities, the sale of music and clothes.
This is when he decided to create with his partner, his own record label, called Hardtools, giving life vinyl two references to the brand.
In 2005 lost contact with the technics, leaving only time to assimilate knowledge as a producer.
Currently it has returned to give life to his label Hardtools, this time digitally, also adding the creation of two other brands for the same function, Basic Form and UK Executes.
Today we are thrilled to bring you his latest set of techno fueled madness ready to destroy speakers everywhere! 🔥🔥🔥
