This year marks 15 years since I started my service in the online underground. Time flies when you are having fun right?! I remember when I (as non dj) heard something on the radio back then, that was just it. Nobody put that on soundcloud or youtube for you to listen to again. I was telling myself there must be more people that want to listen to some tracks over and over again. That's how it all started. Ripping tracks from radio shows, uploading some cool tracks that were hot in that time period (remember post-dubstep & future garage?),there were even a few people sending me their music to upload! The moment I started doing the video edits was life changing. Not only for me but for all the people we (music youtubers) made hot in the era of lo-fi house. Happy to see some of them rockin big stages today!

Since then, this has been my everyday, 24/7/365! Paid my dues & made the sacrifices. Was it worth it? Damn right! Though I have to admit that I never intended to start djing myself. I was forced to by the community! I am happy I sold my bike so I can buy speakers and started.

Music took me around the world. With music I met a bunch of amazing people who did not hesitate to spend their money and time just to meet the guy they know from youtube. For this I will forever be grateful!

Like 5 years ago, also this time I have a mix for you! I just wanted to put together a mix full of my all time favorite jams. The result is an almost six hour journey through different genres & styles. I also wanted to include music made by people I have some history with. Baltra, Bambounou, Fjaak, Route 8 or Kettama, to name a few (and a whole lotta more!). Expect a lot of hits! Slow jams, House, Techno, UK sound and more.

Presenting their fifth release, Berlin-based record label Woodland Creatures gear up to issue the latest album from Nottingham-born producer Stephen Hedley aka The Crane...Our pick from the album is 'No Duck' - transporting listeners away from the mundanity of the urban environment this is a 126 BPM full-bodied mid dance of electronics. Heightened drum rhythms and IDM arpeggios are juxtaposed with glitched hi-hats. 'No Duck' sounds like a trip back in time giving a firm nod towards the legacy of 90's era Warp. Prog Royalty, who goes by the name of Lisene or Marlon Morris, joins us for this months show. @lisenemusic has put together a retrospective of one of his favourite artists called Aural Imbalance, which is full of atmospheric sounds & letting each track breathe through simple yet effective mixing. @lisenemusic stated it’s a little less fast paced than a club mix but the quality of the tracks speaks for themselves.

@lisenemusic has recently graced Australian shores in the tail end of 2023 & most notably featured at @strawberryfields_festival alongside his lifelong friend @adam__pits as their b2b alias Space Cadets. @lisenemusic is no stranger to the scene & has shared talents at many renowned events such as @boilerroomtv , @dimensionsfestival , @warning._____ & @hypersoft__ .

@lisenemusic is also apart of his own 3-way label called @on.rotation.music with @adam__pits & @chris_ianson . As a label they have had many releases and events and continue to sit high up within the progressive house community.
