A mini mix I did for BBC in The West recently!

I like a lot of different styles around the 4x4 so I tried to incorporate as much as I could in 10 minutes! Started with a 97 UK Garage track, into some new dubby Tech House, into some unreleased Speed Garage from my label Alpha's Trip Records, into some Dark House from Interplanetary Criminal and DJ Cosworth, then finished up with some funky styled Techno!

We start off our vinyl series with a very special release. An original 1997 Speed Garage tune by the legend - Paul Rayner has been reworked 4 times. Originally under his Knights Of Illusion alias, the samples of his ‘Sexuality’ track were dug out of the attic off of an old floppy disk and put into the hands of 4 exciting producers, all heavily inspired by underground 90s dance music.

Soul Mass Transit System deliver their signature Speed Garage sound, topped up with classic M1 organs. Conspiracy Dubz plays homage to the legend Paul Rayner, putting together a bass heavy rework, much in style of the original track itself. Joedan puts a tribal house spin on the track and Square One pushes the track into the realms of Hardcore.

AT001 - PAUL RAYNER - SEXUALITY - 2023 REMIXES

Kicking off the digital series of Alpha’s Trip with a compilation that explores some of the different styles loved by label head - A For Alpha.

A heavy rooting in 4x4 dance music with House, Garage House, Speed Garage and Hard House. Also accompanied by a couple of pieces of Jungle, both in differing styles that show a variety of the sounds influencing the label.

A For Alpha debuts her first track and is joined in great company by GroovyD, Heavy Cream, ISKA, Longeez and Northsound.

This was a radio show I did for Redbull Radio in the lead up to their festival I played with them last summer. I played on the Garage festival they had with an insaneeee lineup in some mad car park in London! Got to play alongside Jeremy Sylvester, Mike Millrain, Riz La Teef, Anz and loads of wicked others.
