this set was recorded during DJ Rashad's first appereance in Germany (http://www.residentadvisor.net/event.aspx?234189), which was also one of his first gigs in Europe ever. originally we recorded it for our own archive, but with his passing we wanted to share this with all of you. we will always be thankful for the inspiration he was to musicians and fans world-wide, us included, and hope that this recording will contribute to his legacy.

Originally recorded for the EMI Nigeria label and produced by legendary producer Odion Iruoje - Keyboard were a one-off studio project formed by Brodricks Majuwa and Isaac Digha from circa 1978. These two session men were often used at the EMI studio and played in multiple recordings that Iruoje produced throughout the era 

'Peaceable World' is taken from their extremely scarce and obscure record - 'Hungry Man' - which features amongst others Ignace de Souza of the Black Santiagos from the city of Cotonou, Benin and Jonni Wood from the band SJOB movement.

Started teaching himself beatboxing after being impressed by formerly a member of The Roots, Rahzel’s performance in Central Park, New York City in 1996.

After graduating from high school, moved to New York. He  appeared in a film “Scratch” and in a documentary exploring the world of beatboxing, “Breath Control” as only Japanese beatboxer.

2003
Released the first Japanese human beatbox album, Always Fresh Rhythm Attack

2004
Released his second album, Digital Breath

2005
Formed the beatboxing band Afra & Incredible Beatbox Band with Kei and K-Moon (currently inactive)

2009
Released Heart Beat, an album constructed entirely out of his natural voice, forgoing the use of even a single musical instrument or electronic aid.

2012
Released a cover album of famous tunes, listen 2 my heart beat, with Keiichi Sokabe,

Performed several music festivals around the world including “SONAR 2005, 2006” (Spain), “BIG DAY OUT 2006” (Australia), “numusic 2006” (Norway). Moreover, featured in a Fuji Xerox TV commercial and adidas Originals SS world campaign commercial.

2016 launched his own label and web store is called Always Fresh.
released an album OHAYO from there.
