Surgeon first encountered Jesse Dorris via live streams of his broadcasts on the legendary, independent American radio station WFMU, where his show Polyglot https://www.wfmu.org/playlists/PX mixes up new electronic sounds, queer ephemera, and vintage queasy listens each week as the sun rises over New York City. For the March 2024 instalment of Tresor Meets Surgeon, the pair team up in Globus for an all-night b2b that takes cues from Joe Meek’s studio to the GRM to the Loft—anywhere sound waves hit four walls and resonate. 
For this all night session Jesse and Tony played one hour on, one hour off with Jesse starting the night. We hope you enjoy listening to this recording as much as we did playing the music.

Bio:

ELENA SIZOVA is a belarusian artist based in Poland with 15 years experience in electronic music. Lecturer during the day at technical university in the past, she prorogates her classes in slightly different rooms during the weekends: her taste for experimental and acid gives spaces to telluric experiences on the dancefloor with well-crafted sound while weaving together old and new, rare and obscure, electro and techno.
Solo productions but also coproductions as a part of Der Zyklus and Daughter Produkt projects, co-host of monthly RADIO RITUEL show, SAMEHEADS Berlin resident with a party serie “Outsounder”.
Appeared in line-ups at such festivals as DEKMANTEL, INTERGALACTIC FM, DIGITAL TSUNAMI, SIGNAL, SCOPITONE, ARS ELECTRONICA, SUPINES; clubs as Tresor, Griessmuhle, Robert Johnson, Suicide Circus, C12, About Blank, Rote Sonne, Golden Pudel, De School, Macao, Mutabor, Ankali, Opium, Jasna1, RSO and many more. Radio shows at Hoer, Kiosk, Rinse FM, Mutant Radio, EOS.
